Pushed into buying a car on short notice (our only car died on a trip), we went to three dealers in Reno and decided we liked the Chevy Sonic deal best. Not having time to do research, we were caught by the tricks that dealers use, and Champion (in Reno) didn't hesitate to use them. The price we thought we were getting went up because of some coating on the body. Why didn't they tell us that while we were still looking at the sticker and asking the details? By the time we agreed to buy, they had other things added on. Pressed for time, we went ahead and bought. I figure we were cheated less than $1,000, but I would never buy another car from this dealer. A friend of mine a new Chevy at the same time from Carson City Chevrolet, through Costco. I could see why Costco would deal with Carson City and not Reno. The salesman told me the wrong information on the loan, so we ended up with a higher rate than we'd been told. I complained to the dealer, and he told me where I could get the deal and even gave me his card to call if I had a problem. I had a problem getting the loan, so I phoned his number. I never heard from him. In short, I do not trust Champion Chevrolet in Reno. If I wanted a new Chevy in Reno, I'd go to Carson City. The service center did fine, though. I have no complaints about their work. I just felt cheated by the sales team and the dealer behind it all. Note: we bought our car on December 31, 2014, so I don't know what's changed since then. But the company continues to send me nuisance emails, and I can't get off their list. I regret dealing with them. More

Just got my 2021 traverse. Anthony was my salesman and he was awesome from start to finish. He was honest with us from the start and to be honest we were not even sure we were gonna leave with our truck b he was awesome from start to finish.
