Very professional and friendly. Fully explained all details of my service and asked if I had any questions. John was great as all of your service staff have always been. Well let’s just say the worst experience I’ve ever had at a GM Dealership. I called and was told that a diagnostic test would be $175.11. When I got there, I told the service advisor Chris Bowmen about a c a GM Dealership. I called and was told that a diagnostic test would be $175.11. When I got there, I told the service advisor Chris Bowmen about a couple of other items that were of concern. My check engine light was on and a previous check at O’Rylie’s showed a DEF P205B sensor that was bad. In addition, I told/showed the service advisor (Chris) that there was an issue with my blend ventilation motor and could easily be heard when turning on the ignition. I had also just changed my headlight assemblies and wanted to make sure the adjustments were correct to prevent any blinding my my headlights. Apparently, if you tell them what is wrong you get charged 175.11 for each item. Not actually understanding this, I agreed to the diagnostic’s for 175.11. Chris called me the next morning and advised me the repairs would be in excess of 3500.00. Obviously, this was a complete shock. I told them not to do anything to my truck and I would come pick it up. When I got there, via Uber, because they wouldn’t provide a shuttle as they did when I dropped it off, I was told my cost was 337.00, 175.11 for each item I told them about!!!!!, they gave me a break on the headlight adjustment because apparently the wall they used to check the adjustment didn’t charge the 175.11 that day….happy me!!!!! At the end of the day, just driving my truck into Champion Chevrolet of Reno, and them NOT turning one screw on my truck cost me 337.00. This is completely unacceptable and I will be disputing the charges with my CC company. If you happen to HAVE to take your vehicle there, DON’T offer up any items to the advisor as they will charge 175.11 for each one, just say my check engine light is on. This is by far the WORST experience I’ve ever had with a GM Dealership, and will never take my vehicle there even if my life depends on it. I wouldn’t even give them one star, but then I wouldn’t be able to leave a review. Whoever owns Champion Chevrolet should be ashamed of themselves for conducting business in such a deceitful manner More
