We recently purchased a vehicle at Sam Leman in Champaign. Reese Smith was our sales associate and we could not be more pleased with the service he provided us. A very friendly and welcoming individual, Reese was very knowledgeable of the cars on his lot (in our case a Jeep) as well as the services his dealership had to offer. He communicated effectively and seemed to clearly understand our needs, focusing on them rather than what he had to sell. As me and my partner are probably 50 years older than Reese, he explained things in a caring way, never condescending. We felt both heard and respected. Once we worked out a deal we met with Johnny Lane who helped us work out the financing and any features (like a maintenance agreement) we might want to add to our purchase. Johnny was invested in what we wanted, not selling things to us. He clearly explained our options so that we could decide if we wanted them or not. In some cases he began with saying, “I don’t think this is something you should consider, but I will explain it to you if you wish.” We left with a purchase we are very pleased with as well as the comfort of knowing that Reese and Johnny are there for support if something should ever come up. We return in a few days to connect with Reese who is going to introduce us to their maintenance team. We could not be more pleased with our buying experience and strongly recommend connecting with Reese Smith at Sam Leman if you are in the market for a new vehicle.

I had a terrible experience with Champaign Chrysler Dodge Jeep and Ram service department. I went into the service department because my car Check Engine Light came on and my brake pedal was stiff. They fixed the brake pedal issue without any issues. However the check engine light was a different story. They took three weeks on my car and still didn't fix the issue. They wanted to charge me a ridiculous amount of money on a repair that they have never done at their location. The agent (Andy) kept going back and forth with his explanation on the "Worst Case Scenario" theory. Which mean more money i had to fork over. I spent over two thousand dollars for the repair that didn't even fix the issue. So then, I went to my dealership and had to pay for the same repair plus more. Please beware of this dealership! Have a mechanic with you if you are dong repairs at this location. Beware!!!! More

I got into town on a Saturday and discovered my car was leaking coolant. Monday morning I had it towed to the dealership. I didn't have an appointment, but they thought they might get to it later that af leaking coolant. Monday morning I had it towed to the dealership. I didn't have an appointment, but they thought they might get to it later that afternoon or the next day. The next day I stopped in after work just to see how things were progressing. Much to my surprise and delight, I was told that the problem had been diagnosed, the parts were in stock and repairs would be started shortly. About 30 minutes later I received a call telling me that my car was ready. I immediately returned and picked up my car. As an added bonus, I was able to return my rental at the dealership. I was very happy with the speed and professionalism displayed by the service department. I did not purchase my car from them and was just some guy off the street with an automotive problem. More
