Spent some time researching the VW I wanted to purchase and I fortunately found one for sale with this dealership in Connecticut. After closing on the car, it was given a very thorough service inspection. Items found even borderline were addressed and or replaced to no additional cost of mine.. this is unheard of ! Vehicle was then delivered to my door and upon arrival it exceeded all expectations. From the initial contact, to photos and videos, financing and paperwork, delivery, all was top notch! My salesman Joe was very attentive to my needs and requests daily. I am actually shocked that I am giving such a high review to a car buying experience! I walked in their doors 8 days ago super frustrated over trying to buy a nice used car. Back in April I tried to give my to a car buying experience! I walked in their doors 8 days ago super frustrated over trying to buy a nice used car. Back in April I tried to give my money to Milford Mitsubishi but the games they played made it painfully obvious they weren’t in the car selling business but in the “scam the consumer” business. Not so with Joe and the team at Champagne Motor car. Joe immediately put me at ease as he explained their very transparent process. There were no aggressive sales tactics, no “bait and switch” shenanigans. I mentioned there were two vehicles I was interested in viewing. He brought out the keys to each and walked me to them in the parking lot. He then told me to take my time checking them out and if I was interested in driving one or both to pull them out front and he’d put a plate on them. That was it. One drive in that ‘21 BMW X3 M40i sold me! Joe then walked me through the process to value my trade-in; once again this was done in a highly transparent manner. A week later when I came to make the purchase, I was in and out in a half hour. Joe had reached out to my insurance agent so that was all set. There was no effort by the finance guy to sell me an extended warranty or bottom coating or any other xx extra that most dealerships try to weave into the sale. Thank you Joe. I live an hour and a half away so it was very important for me to only make one trip to the dealership, other dealerships told me it was impossible but Champagne made it seem easy!! Fernando was extremely responsive through the whole process, he answered all of my questions and took the time to explain everything to me in great detail. I never once felt rushed or brushed aside. I did not catch the owners name but I met him the day I picked up the truck and he seemed great as well. The finance manager was very easy to work with as well and took the time to layout all of my options and explain everything very clearly. A+ service all around, will definitely consider making the hour and a half trip again to purchase our next vehicle! More

Ernie, was Pleasant & helpful. The deal went down on time, as planned without any surprises. I needed a few things squared away after my purchase and Ernie took care of it expeditiously. What impressed Me most is I didn't have to chase or follow up with them. The welcoming vibe the dealership projects, with an extremely clean selection and NO games is rare in the auto sales industry.
