I was in my 03 ford focus and a car slammed into and rear ended me March 23 2011. Insurance totaled the car March 31. By April 1 Jackie and my salesman Brandon had found the perfect new vehivle replacment fo ended me March 23 2011. Insurance totaled the car March 31. By April 1 Jackie and my salesman Brandon had found the perfect new vehivle replacment for me with financing that worked. I had to call my lift manufacturer to be sure any vehicle I looked at would handle my new needs a electric wheelchair and inside lift.That company total me they used the Ford Transit. Jackie told me about the mobility rebate for when I purchased my chair and lift. I purchased it in late September and after the install Jackie had walked the paperwork all the way through the ford mobility program. Today 10/20/11 I got my rebate check fast enough that I only needed a short term 1 month loan and now it is paid back and every thing fits inside my 2010 Blue Transit Connect van!!! (something Allstate Insurance loves) I have had workers from several companies stop me and ask about the van for their companies and recommended Jackie to get several disabled friends from a statewide meeting into this great responsive program. I could not have afforded it and get the reimbursement without Jackie! She kept in touch and worked hard to follow it. Transit is not well known- but everyone knows my Blue one! I spent months looking for a good used minivan at a good price. Went to a dozen different dealers to look at different vans. I found the 2006 Highlander Hybrid listing at Don Chalmers Ford through Kelly Blue Book online. I called the dealership immediately. Pete made our purchase as seamless and pain-free as possible, MUCH less painful than we could ever have imagined. He really bent over backwards and went the extra mile to make us feel no pressure while we considered the purchase. I must tell you that due to him, we had absolutely no hesitation buying the car from Don Chalmers. We count ourselves truly lucky to have had him as our salesman and are ever grateful to him. We love our car and the deal he made for us. This may sound silly and over-the-top in praise, but we mean every word and are not exaggerating. We had no idea what our experience would be at a car dealership and were worried. Once we met Peter and spent time with him on our long test drive, we knew we'd be okay. We also had the distinct advantage of meeting with Jackie Sidden to facilitate our car financing. Once again, she was truly wonderful and got us a loan better that we had hoped for (we had already been approved at another Credit Union but she made us a much better offer). She also went the extra mile for us when we bumped into a few glitches along the way to finalizing the loan.
