You pay much more the the sticker price they tell you. They lure you in with the phony sticker price. The first thing I did was I brought my present car to Carmax to find out its value. And they told me 28,400, but the manager of certified performance motors in Valley Stream. New York offered me 24,000 so he could keep the difference in price from Carmax as coverage for their sneaky fees. So if you didn’t have a trade-in, you would have to pay for fees, for example, prep and reconditioning fee, which basically is washing your car and vacuuming. Or dealership, fees, and these fees are nearly $1000 each. So you never pay the sticker price you have to add on a few extra fees. Also some dealers like those charge you a down payment fee, which is not deducted off the original price. More

Like so many negative reviews here, I was also scammed by these unscrupulous and deceitful people, engaging in deceptive trade practices. The business name is Certified Performance Motors. I was in communica these unscrupulous and deceitful people, engaging in deceptive trade practices. The business name is Certified Performance Motors. I was in communication with their Sales Specialist, Anthony Jackson, for over two weeks prior to flying out to NY (from Nashville). Anthony assured me that the price I saw on their website and other websites like AutoTrader, etc. was accurate but I had to go through their Financing in order to get that price, i.e. it would be much higher if I paid cash. I asked Anthony during several discussions to confirm the price and he did. The car was advertised for $32,988, and their website even showed you the down payment ($3,298.80) and the Amount Financed of $29,689.20. I have saved the evidence of that for my law suit. However, on 3/12/23, when I sat down with Alan Zhu, the Finance Manager, he changed the numbers on me and added several additional lines of various fees, and gave me a total finance amount of around $45k before taxes!! This was already very deceptive advertising as they did not honor the advertised price on their website nor on other websites they had the car listed (such as AutoTrader, etc.) But on top of that, they also added a mandatoryy Warranty coverage for $5,995. When I argued with them and demanded that they remove it, Alan said it was an Extended Warranty from BMW that I had to buy from them, and proceeded to show me the Extended Warranty coverage, which was for 100,000 miles or 120 months (with a $100 copay per incident). I tried my best to turn down this warranty and the other extra/deceptive charges, so Alan then left the room, and then after a while, Sami, their Sales Manager, came in and told me that he'll knock off the "Gap Insurance" charge and knock off $1,000 from the "Extended BMW Warranty", and continued to tell me how valuable this warranty was. After several pleas from my part to remove it, I finally, reluctantly, agreed to take it (in hindsight this was due to a lot of sales pressure). However, after getting all the paper work ready, Alan went through the pages very quickly and had me sign each one, hurrying me through the process. I trusted them that everything was in order, based on what we agreed to for over an hour, but when I got home from the very long drive from New York to Nashville, and went through the paper work the next morning (Monday March 13, 2023), I realied that they added the "warranty" charge amount (as well as the various other "fees") as a single line item as the Sales Price of the vehicle, but never gave me the warranty papers - it was not there! I called them right away and asked to speak to Alan - they put me on hold and said Alan was not available. So I called back, and Alan was still not available, so this time I left him a voice mail to call me back. Then I called again the same day (Monday, 3/13/23) and asked to speak to Sami (the Sales manager) but again was put on hold and then told he wasn't there. I called again - same treatment each time. I also called Sami on his cell phone but no answer. So I called the office again and left Sami a voice mail to call me back. No one called me back that day (Monday) or the next day (Tuesday)! Absolute crickets! The New York Consumer Affairs Title 20 states: "No person shall engage in any deceptive or unconscionable trade practice in the sale, lease, rental, or loan or in the offering for sale, lease, rental, or loan of any consumer goods or services", and it further clarifies "Deceptive trade practice" as "Any false, falsely disparaging, or misleading oral or written statement, visual description or other representation of any kind made in connection with the sale, lease, rental or loan or in connection with the offering for sale, lease, rental, or loan of consumer goods or services...." And never got the BMW Extended Warranty!!! I plan on suing them. These guys are scam artists and need to be stopped! More

I went into this dealership as a cash buyer on an Infiniti QX50 (dealers don't like this because they don't have a chance to make money off of your financing) and had a truecar quote for the cash price. With truecar, that price quote is to include all of their fees and the tax so it was about $3K over what was listed and fine, included final price taxes & fees I get it. Well when looked at car, made decision was going to buy, sat down with dealer, he advised the price would be $7,000 over that truecar price due to the additional dealer fee and the mandatory warranty. I advised that I didn't want the warranty and the response was that it is already included and can't be taken off. I then excused myself and left the dealership. I received a call 20 minutes later asking how my appointment went and advised it was terrible, and full of deceit. I told him about the $7K mark-up and the response was well we can work on the numbers but the warranty has to be added because the car is certified. I then asked certified by who Infiniti? The response was YES. I asked how that was possible if they are not an Infiniti dealer... he reverted back to asking about working on the numbers and said absolutely not couldn't be less interested at this point. If they are bold enough to lie to your face it begs to question the full integrity of every aspect of their business and the quality/care of the vehicles they sell. STAY AWAY!! More
