Horrible Experience! I've worked with many BMW dealerships in the SoCal area, and my experience with Century West BMW has been the worst by far. I worked with the sales r I've worked with many BMW dealerships in the SoCal area, and my experience with Century West BMW has been the worst by far. I worked with the sales representative Zach (floor manager), who deserves to be fire. We made a deal on the phone and I drove there to pick up the car. However, he LIED to me and said it would take 1 full day to run the paperwork for the rebate, when in reality the dealership across town was able to run it in about 5 minutes. It turns out Zach was just trying to get me out of the dealership. He called me when I got home saying he changed his mind and didn't want to do the deal. I tried speaking to the General Manager, Chris, who also turned out to be a horrible representative of the dealership. I called and waited on hold to discuss Zach's lies to me, but he refused to answer my call. He told his secretary that he did not wish to accept my call and for me to not call back. Chris would not even give me an explanation as to why he did not want to do the deal. Long story, short: DO NOT use this dealership. And if you do, definitely do not work with Zach. More

Century West BMW, DO NOT TRUST THEM, PLS READ!!!!!!!! I purchased a pre-owned 2013 X6 with 43kmiles @ Century West a few weeks ago. Century West salesman discussed for many days how great condition the c I purchased a pre-owned 2013 X6 with 43kmiles @ Century West a few weeks ago. Century West salesman discussed for many days how great condition the car was in, both inside and out, top to bottom. I wired them the money and they shipped the car to me b/c I live out of state. I trusted them fully on their statements of condition of the car, in fact my purchase was fully based on that alone. Finally delivery date, when the auto transport company driver backed the X6 off the truck at delivery the cooling fan was racing on and off, noticeably and very loudly, on and off. I have video of it. I thought it was weird right away. I drove the car to fill up with gas and the fan was doing the same even while driving, very loudly, i have never heard a fan going on and off while driving. A few miles later the engine temp came on and the car warned me to pull over because of hot engine temp and warned it would overheat. The car has been confirmed by both my local BMW dealership and also by a non dealership mechanic to be throwing water pump fault codes and needs a water pump and thermostat, (as well as battery and front brakes!!). Century West BMW's only solution was that they told me i need to talk to my local dealer to see if local dealer will fix it for me. Hello!?!?! I didnt buy it from local dealer in MA I bought it from you Century West BMW. Century West has shown zero effort and zero interest in paying for the repair or making it right in any way, (but they showed lots of interest in taking my money and accepting the wire transfer.) I have a video of the cooling fan racing/cycling on and off when it came off the truck and a video of the hot engine light/message that came on in the first few miles. They took my $34k pretty quickly yet not willing to take care of an issue and didnt deliver me a road worthy, didnt deliver me an operable car. I was also informed by my local dealer the battery is all but dead and the brakes are well below acceptable dealership tolerance and the key FOB is telling them it needs brakes. So I paid $34k for the car, I was assured was in great condition and within minutes of being off the truck(and in reality while it was coming off the truck) it can't be driven!!!! I have never been a party to a more fraudulent, unjust, deceptive transaction and the service/parts director Joe Deitrick just doesn't seem to care.....specifically service/parts manager Joe Deitrick has shown zero sympathy, and zero customer service skills, and just doesn't return phone calls, and has taken no initiative to make it right in any way shape or form. I gave you $34k you dont even try to solve it? You dont even pretend to have customer service skills? His solution was for me to be cordial(his words exactly) to my local dealership and they would hopefully take care of it for me despite it being out of warranty and despite me not purchasing car there. I would never recommend anyone trust this dealership nor trust Joe Deitrick. Its pretty simple, you cash my check and I simply expect a car that's operable/road worthy and free of fault codes on day 1, thats all pretty simple......Only conclusion here is that Century West BMW is a deceptive, untrustworthy dealership. Imagine if you were me and paid $34k for a car that you were told was in great shape, yet off the truck it had failed water pump and couldn't be driven!?!?. I have never in my whole life written a review of any restaurant, any retailer, any business but I had to speak up as this shouldn't happen to anyone and if you deal with them, be careful!!!!. Take my word, all I asked for is for them to deliver the goods that I was promised and that I paid for....a road worthy operable car. I have a car that needs $1500 for water pump and thermostat, (not mention brakes/rotors and battery for another $1100 and I have yet to drive the car!!). I wish someone would have posted this for me to read before I wired them my hard earned money. They bragged about being a tier 1 dealership. I guess tier 1 stands for tier 1 fraudulent dealership with zero customer service skills and a deceptive employee. More

The staff is friendly; the service advisor (Doug) is very accommodating and helpful. But I am frustrated with the quality of service. My car recently broke down; was towed to the dealer; I was taken care of immediately with repairs done in 2-business days. It was expensive but fixed. Within 12-hours the problem was back and I was again stranded. I had to spend my own money, again, for a tow back to the dealership for repairs. When I go to a BMW dealer for repair I expect it to be fixed right the first time. Also, my husband had a similar experience where he had repairs here; the problem was not fixed and he ended up at Beverly Hills BMW Service who stated the problem was not fixed correctly and when they did the service, they got it right. I don't think I will return to this dealer for service repairs based on the quality of work and reliability of repairs. I plan to try a new dealer to see if my experience improves, especially since I am not covered by a warranty anymore and all repairs are out of pocket for me. Too bad - I like the people. More
