I wouldn't wish the experience I've had with this dealership on my worst enemy. If I could give them 0 stars I would. First, the dealer "lost" my wire deposit of $8000 for over a week. Then it dealership on my worst enemy. If I could give them 0 stars I would. First, the dealer "lost" my wire deposit of $8000 for over a week. Then it took them over 2 weeks to ship the car to me. It arrived more than 4 weeks after it was fully paid for. Then the title and paperwork took another week to arrive. But that was no big deal because the vehicle was in the shop for another 5 days. As soon as I started the vehicle I knew there was a major issue. 1) The water pump was screaming and needed replaced ($650) 2) The rear hatch and the rear door lock actuators were broken ($300ish). I talked to Frank about these issues and he dismissed it entirely saying that it wasn't making noise when he had it. Whatever, it's my fault for not being there in person to drive the vehicle and taking these peoples' word for it. So I went to the DMV in Nebraska and was sent away because the title was never reassigned to Century Motors from another dealer. I called Gina and was again told that I didn't know what I was talking about and to go back to my DMV (AKA wait in line for another 2 hours during Covid). I finally got resolution on what needed to be done to make the paperwork right and sent the title back. I called in advance to let them know it would be there the next day WITH prepaid return shipping. I then called 2 days after it arrived to ask for an update and was told they were too busy to look into it today. It is now 7 days after the paperwork arrived on their desks and I called them to ask what was going on. I have never had a less pleasant conversation in my life. I was accused of lying multiple times, told that I should have handled this sooner about 8 times, and was also told that they were going to harbor my paperwork because they didn't like my attitude. I clarified that I had heard that correctly and Gina promptly walked back that remark and said that it would be fixed and sent back as soon as they can. Finally, Gina said that it is impossible to get in contact with CarMax (the previous dealer) to resolve issues like this. I called CarMax and had the correct person on the phone within 30 seconds. I told Gina that I would be reviewing this experience before ending the call. She called me right back saying "if you have a complaint just email us" not letting me get a single word in before she hung up on me. This is the ABSOLUTE worst experience I've ever had with not only a dealership, but any business in general. Don't be fooled by their low mileage inventory. This place is AWFUL. I was going to wait to post this review until I had my paperwork back as to avoid them screwing me over again, but at this point I don't believe it is possible for them to treat me any worse. Save your money, stay away. More
Can not believe the service and respect that my wife and I received at this dealership. The best experience that we have ever had. No haggling, a test drive without anyone at the dealership to accompany us I received at this dealership. The best experience that we have ever had. No haggling, a test drive without anyone at the dealership to accompany us (they trusted 2 African Americans), no looking judging us for whom we are, no unfulfilled promises, no price changes in the middle of the deal and absolutely nice vehicles. We received great conversation, genuine smiles, respect and the attention that you can not get from larger dealerships. To the naysayers, this is not your typical dealership, Frank and Gina are wonderfully nice people. If you didn't like the dealership when you got there you should have not tried to do business with them. Not doing business with them would have been your loss. THANK YOU FRANK AND GINA FUZY FOR YOUR LOVE AND ATTENTION More
I came across Century Motors of South Florida’s website while looking for a used car from our summer home in Minnesota. Century had a great selection of low mileage used cars. Frank and Gina sent me all while looking for a used car from our summer home in Minnesota. Century had a great selection of low mileage used cars. Frank and Gina sent me all the information I needed including a complete CarFax to confirm the mileage and vehicle condition. They worked with us to deliver the car to our winter home in Vero Beach. We could not be more pleased with our experience. Frank and Gina are very good at what they do. After the sale I told Gina that I was a veteran of 40 years of auto sales and dealership management and that it was a pleasure to do business with them. Bill Ward, Minneapolis, MN More
Was looking for a used reliable car, not to expensive and saw Century Motors site due to their pictures of cars at very reasonable prices. Glad I went there, the owners Frank and Gina are very straight forward, cordial, professional and down to earth. They even have a snack area which looks like a gift shop at a Disney store; not even the big dealer shops offer you a free soda. I had issues with my debit card so ended up going to the bank instead, was given a ride by Mr.G, the founder...it was awesome. Highly recommend Century Motors of south Florida; they also ship to all other states. Thank you very much......was a pleasure doing business with you Frank and Gina. Please give myb regards to Mr.G. and Lexus... More
Had two good conversations with this dealer. Very straightforward and helpful. Although, we did not purchase this particular vehicle, I would not hesitate to contact this dealer again. I bought this car online and received what my mechanic called a “flood vehicle”. The undercarriage was completely rusted out, and the inside smelled like a swamp. They had initially been very good at answ called a “flood vehicle”. The undercarriage was completely rusted out, and the inside smelled like a swamp. They had initially been very good at answering the phone, but once there was a problem all of a sudden they were never available and eventually blocked my number. I had to have several friends call and finally get them to accept a return but I had to eat the $2000 in shipping costs. They received the vehicle back January 14, but I didn’t get my refund until February 8… And that was after several phone calls from my friends who were eventually hung up on and blocked. Since this happened I have read numerous negative reviews about them and their standard response is “you didn’t buy from us”. These people are predators and the epitome of why people are nervous to buy cars online. More
What an incredibly positive experience. The owners were straightforward and very pleasant. No up charging and BS like most dealers. My daughter found a great car with a clean CarFax with only 17k miles on straightforward and very pleasant. No up charging and BS like most dealers. Major undisclosed defects, Dealer refused to acknowledge. I Bought a car from Century Motorcars of South Florida, (known as Floridacars1 on Ebay) on line and had it shipped trusting this dealer's reputation. I Bought a car from Century Motorcars of South Florida, (known as Floridacars1 on Ebay) on line and had it shipped trusting this dealer's reputation. He assured me that it was ready for a 1.500 mile trip. Thank goodness i decided to ship it rather than drive because It arrived with multiple undisclosed defects including severe transmission leak, broken side mirror, bad body control module, dry rotted tires that exploded on my first first trip, shocks and struts leaking oil with blown seals, brakes fading dangerously, no horn or emergency flashers, a/c weak and many badly touched up body flaws. I don’t expect a used car to be perfect, but I think it is reasonable to expect it to be safely driveable. This car was presented as a well-maintained low mileage older car, but turned out to be a low mileage older car with multiple neglected and serious maintenance issues that were very obvious. I was unable to drive it at all for 3 months while Frank promised to help but managed only to pay to repair the transmission. It turned out that he was playing a delaying game waiting for time to run out for compliants on Ebay. I am left with thousands of dollars of repairs and I still can't trust this car for an out of town trip. Frank has great feedback on Ebay which prompted me to trust him, but he betrayed that trust telling me that if I gave him good feedback, he would help with repairs. To be fair, he is probably a usually reliable dealer who just failed to check this car out. The problem is that he just doesn't have the character to face his mistake and protect his customer. Why take the chance? Buyer Beware! More
