I had a fantastic experience purchasing a vehicle from Central Maine Motors Auto Group. Bob McQuillan was a great person to work with. My car buying experience was a bit unique as I flew in from out of st Central Maine Motors Auto Group. Bob McQuillan was a great person to work with. My car buying experience was a bit unique as I flew in from out of state to purchase a particular vehicle from their dealership. I spoke to Bob over the phone to see if we could come to an agreement over the price. He was willing to work with me to help me get to a price I was satisfied with paying for the car. I felt like he went out of his way to not only help come down on the price, but to ensure that we worked through all the logistics to ensure my trip to Maine would be smooth. He let me know the state requirements of getting tested for Covid before being able to come to the dealership (I was able to get a free rapid 1 hour test from a nearby Walgreens). As I had flown into Portland, I had to rent a car to go to the Walgreens and to get to the dealership afterwards. Bob was gracious enough to deduct the price of the car rental from the overall purchase price. I also love that there are no vehicle doc fees. This is the only dealership I've ever come across that doesn't charge that fee. Everything is straight forward and they truly care about their customers. Additionally, I interacted briefly over email with the owner, Chris. I can tell that this group of dealerships is truly different from others. They care about their customers and helping them to find solutions rather than being focused primarily on profits. Chris sets a great example for his employees from the top down and I sincerely appreciate that they strive to differentiate themselves and stand out from the rest. More
