I originally posted this on March 2022 on Google; I’ll be leaving my story as it progresses. my current vehicle: 2016 Jeep Compass purchased in (Oct 2019) 27,000mi, has now (May 1, 2022) 45,000 ”I’m su leaving my story as it progresses. my current vehicle: 2016 Jeep Compass purchased in (Oct 2019) 27,000mi, has now (May 1, 2022) 45,000 ”I’m sure we’ll get you right in and out of here” for an oil change and inspection turned into 2 hours and 15 minutes with no heads up. After coming to get me, they then proceeded to attempt to charge me to replace a part covered under my warranty. $600 of repair and replacement: 12,000 miles in. Their service has been good thus far, the shuttle service is nice and the video they sometimes take of the underneath of the vehicle is impressive. My review is of this experience; I will update this following future good experiences. Edit (Added Below this line on May 1) 44,500mi Compass is not operational. I get it to them for an issue with acceleration and they send me home, then keeping the vehicle. They call me 3 days later, “$800, it is not covered by your extended warranty; it might be ready by Thursday; we will not provide a rental.” As I work in customer service myself, I won’t share the name of my agent. He is simply a relay for the policies that protect Chrysler and Central Maine Motors. Sadly, as a consumer, I do not have such protections afforded to me. I hadn’t hoped to update this review with another bad experience; I bought this vehicle at 27,000 miles and I haven’t quite gotten to 45,000 yet. More
This started as a so-so experience that got worse. I had sent an email to an old friend who worked there and because he was on vacation I was immediately bombarded with emails from other sales people. I sto sent an email to an old friend who worked there and because he was on vacation I was immediately bombarded with emails from other sales people. I stopped in by chance because I had to be in Waterville and changed my mind on the vehicle I wanted which shouldn't have really been a issue because my Capitol One qualification was more than $10k higher than the original vehicle and the second one was only $1k more but they insisted on using my Credit Union which had a Vin specific qualification. Long story short several hours later I left with a $29k truck and after putting $9k down and adding service plans etc I was still financing $27k+/-.but in the meantime they shorted me more than $1k from their own KBB trade in, I put $5k more down than I original planned but #COVID. Now here we are a day short of 3 weeks later and the truck is dead. Well not dead really it just won't start. I called and was transferred to someone named Steve and when I explained that every light on the dash was flashing and every needle was fluttering he said "OH, a dead battery will do that." SO suspicion arose as I had told him which vehicle I had purchased and he automatically went to "battery". I lifted the hood and the battery had been replaced in July 2021. It is corroded around the terminal and pretty much the entire top of the battery is covered with a pink oily substance. I got back in the truck and tried once again to start it, no start but it sounded like a frog repeatedly croaking under the dash and EVERYTHING short of the truck itself works (horn, stereo, AC, light bar, headlights, interior lights, EVERYTHING short of starting). I call back and get transferred to Steve once again and this time remember that I had purchased a "gold service plan". Steve's response..."get it here and we'll replace your battery". Seriously???, this is NOT the battery. between the time this was traded in and the time I purchased it it was driver over 2 thousand miles, THEY KNEW it has issues they just didn't want to admit that their staff aren't able to chase the problem. I get home and I look the truck up by Vin# and discover it was a "fleet/rental" vehicle even though the window sticker mentions nothing of this fact. Before I hung up with Steve he did give me a number to call to have it boosted or towed which I called and was given a 60-90 minute wait time. 1 hour and 45 minutes later, still nothing and I needed to leave to pick my son up and get to work. I seriously think my xxx traded in 17 year old Pontiac was giving me less problems than this. More
I worked with Bryan James what a nice man. Told him what I wanted and why and he and the finance dept went over the moon to make this happen. I have never had a car dealership work so hard for me. Service center is a ripoff. Charged me $1500 to fix a starting problem. After being stranded out of state, I found the problem ( a starter relay ) and fixed it myself for $20. They changed my whole fuse starting problem. After being stranded out of state, I found the problem ( a starter relay ) and fixed it myself for $20. They changed my whole fuse box needlessly. More
I must say working with Bob was a pleasure. Friendly no no nonsense, and very respectful. I would definitely trust him to help me with another purchase. My nephew and I traveled 2 hrs north to look at a 2014 Malibu. There was 16 different conversations between Issac and my nephew. We get and he was told that he could only test drive around the lot as it d Malibu. There was 16 different conversations between Issac and my nephew. We get and he was told that he could only test drive around the lot as it didn’t have a sticker. They do not sticker wholesale cars. Nothing mentioned about this being a wholesale vehicle. We look at the paper after they went through the car… needed all 4 brakes and rotors, oil leak which they can’t figure out where or why, plus many others issues. The car would if had yo be towed out. Don’t you think this place or the salesman would have disclosed all this before wasting our time. You can best bet everyone I know will be told to steer clear of this dealership for new or used vehicles. Not a way to treat a customer or run a business. COWARDS. More
Evan made the experience a pleasant one. I told him what I was looking for. He didn't have it on the lot at the time. He called me a few weeks later to let me know the car I was looking for was now on the lot. He let me know within an hour of the car hitting the lot. Sent me pictures and worked with his manager to hold the car for me until I could go to the dealership and test drive it. The car is amazing. Everything I wanted and more. Evan was great to deal with and I got a car I love! More
My salesman, Kevin Beck was very pleasant, and also very knowledgeable about the 2021 Buick Enclave that I purchased. I would recommend him, and all at the people at this dealership. knowledgeable about the 2021 Buick Enclave that I purchased. I would recommend him, and all at the people at this dealership. Our second purchase from them. They were helpful, courteous and no pressure. Got us out of a bind with the previous car. Some of the usual tactics like making us wait for long periods of time, but ov courteous and no pressure. Got us out of a bind with the previous car.
