Yes, my 1st time using the drop off and putting my key in drop box the night before as my appt was for 7:00 am next morning. Problems: no official drop off envelopes. Had to make my own. Next no call bac drop box the night before as my appt was for 7:00 am next morning. Problems: no official drop off envelopes. Had to make my own. Next no call back in the morning at time of appt stating they received the car and working on it. Had to call multiple times just to get ahold of someone in service to see if car was checked it and also to talk about what needs to be done to car. More

I love the Sportage SX Turbo I bought, but that is the only good thing I can say about the experience. I went through TrueCar to get a quote on the model I wanted and made an appointment at the dealer. I only good thing I can say about the experience. I went through TrueCar to get a quote on the model I wanted and made an appointment at the dealer. I told the salesman upfront I had a TrueCar quote. He leaves and comes back with numbers dramatically higher than were on the quote. When I point that out, he asks to see the quote. He heads back to the office and comes back with reasonable numbers and tells me it "slipped his mind" that I had told him I had gone through True Car. Bad omen # 1. After some back and forth we arrive at a deal and I agree to buy the Sportage. At that point I'm told the tech that does the pre delivery inspections isn't there that day (the Saturday before Labor Day). Bad Omen #2. I ask if I can bring it in Monday to get that taken care and I'm told yes, Monday will be fine. I sign the papers and at that point I was basically pushed out the door. The detail group did such a poor job, it had to be taken it back to them a 2nd time. While the salesman was doing that I cleaned out the car I was trading in. When the salesman returned, he told me to take my time loading up my stuff and drive safe and left me standing there. No going over the cars features or showing how to use anything. After spending nearly 40K, I had to pair my own phone, set up my own UVO app, put in and set up the SD card that was in the glove box. It was just a real do-it-yourself experience. Then I get a call Monday morning from the salesman that it “slipped his mind” that the service department was closed on Labor Day and I'd need to come another day. I was told it would only take about 30 minutes. So I come Wednesday afternoon and it took about 1.5 hours. For my trouble they said that would give me a tank of gas, but when I got the car back, of course they hadn't filled it up. Everything about this transaction was slippery and unprofessional and they didn't seem to give xxxx whether I was happy or not. More
