I want to give a half star! I went to central gmc for an oil change. As I have done so, for the past yr and a half. The service was never stellar to begin with. All I have ever gone there for is a oil change and tire rotation. I have never been there for under a hr and a half. Just for a oil change! With a appointment!! I recently got a oil change done 2 Fridays ago. I had an appointment as usually. I showed up. It took an hour for my truck to be brought into the shop! 58 min later it was finally done. I went to get into my 60 thousand dollar truck! There was greasy paw prints all over the running boards and door handles. I drove away and almost instantly started to smell a oil buring smell. I figured they put there greasy mits all over my exhaust or just made a mess of things underneath. So I finally decided to check it out. Not only was there oil dripping from the oil filter. There was oil all over the drain pan. I didn't see any oil on the exhaust. So I started to question why I was getting such a strong odor inside the cab. I popped the hood and low an behold they "forgot" to put the dip stick back in!! Oil is now saturated in my hood insulation!!! and made a frigging mess under the hood!! Thanks central gmc. As a former technician. 15-20 mi. Tops for a oil change is the average time. With a 27 point inspection. Tire rotation and fill all fluids. This hour two hour xxxx is a joke!! No wayy your techs are flat rate. Leaving a frigging mess an not to mention the dam dip stick. Strikes all kinds of unprofessional ideas about central gmc. If you want fast friendly service. Heres my advice. Go somewhere else. xxxx jiffy lube is probably better!! More

Cristiano went out of his way to find the perfect truck I visited multiple GMC dealers over the past month or so. I stopped by Central on a whim as I was going to the shopping center on university ave. I I visited multiple GMC dealers over the past month or so. I stopped by Central on a whim as I was going to the shopping center on university ave. I met with Cristiano the sales rep and told him I was looking for a 2016 sierra denali in red with tan interior. I had previously driven one and was told by other dealers that there were no models in the area. Cristiano did a search of the area and confirmed that that specific truck was not within 200 miles of MA. he then went and did a search beyond 200 miles and found one in VT. we reviewed the specs and it matched exactly what I was looking for. about a week later I was driving the exact truck that I had been looking for. the whole purchase was easy and the entire staff was helpful. Cristiano took the time to review all of the truck features with me. he was very knowledgeable about the sierra line and was very professional. More
Buyer Beware I should really write two reviews. One for the great service leading up to the purchase of my vehicle and another for the absolutely horrid experienc I should really write two reviews. One for the great service leading up to the purchase of my vehicle and another for the absolutely horrid experience after. I purchased a used vehicle. Having purchased used vehicles before, I knew to ask about a second key. The sales rep indicated that they had one but followed up with the commitment to get one if they for some reason did not. I took that as an acceptable answer and purchased the vehicle without additional follow up. My mistake. As it happened, I had to return to the dealership a week later to have services finished that should have been done prior to the purchase (inspection, correct paperwork, pick up registration, interior cleaning, wheel balancing). I used that trip as a chance to also pick up the second key that I expected to be waiting. Unfortunately for me, the purchase transaction had already happened therefore satisfaction was no longer guaranteed. Now, no key was promised but rather, "a concerted effort" to get one and putting even that in writing was not an option. William Glidden, sales manager, was actually confrontational about the issue, argumentative and insulting. It's truly unfortunate that this individual interacts with the public. There was a heated exchange and he even followed me into the parking lot after I walked out to continue. He actually left his seat behind the desk and followed me to my car to continue the argument rather than just let me leave. This is behavior I would expect from someone sitting at a bar, not the public face of a car dealership. I was honestly worried he was going to turn the argument into a physical altercation. Certainly that is a not a feeling one should expect when buying a car. It's too bad really. I don't expect perfection when I buy a used car and I wasn't really complaining about the other inconveniences I had to work with because those are simple mistakes. However, when I'm promised a second key I expect a second key. They very easily could have had one made at the Chrysler dealership in the SAME PARKING LOT. William Glidden turned me from a long term customer into someone who will avoid this dealership at all costs, over a key. More
