Dont have a clue on how to fix a electric car ! Sent me home with a car that failed on the way home after telling me there was no problem even though I showed them video evidence that there was. Still char home with a car that failed on the way home after telling me there was no problem even though I showed them video evidence that there was. Still charged me for their failing to identify the problem the first time. If they dont have the skills to service the Nissan Leaf they should not try to repair them. First time and last time I will ever go there. More
Big Time Waste Of Money And Time!I was there today for Big Time Waste Of Money And Time! I was there today for oil change and tire pressure or tire maintenance light issues. Upon arrival, I got called by Big Time Waste Of Money And Time! I was there today for oil change and tire pressure or tire maintenance light issues. Upon arrival, I got called by a Gentleman called Brandon. I explained him my situation where my main issue is that tire pressure light. My drama and mysterious light came with car as i bought it used. First, it was Mavis tire discount: they made me change 3 valves/censors after testing all of them. light didn't go away. Now their excuse is that, Nissan dealer has the proper computer to reprogram it and it will work. Today I decided to visit Nissan dealer, and then explained the whole thing. Technically, this is my last resort for my issue to be solved. NO. Big mistake. They took my Altima 2009 in, gave me 2 hours, come back, and the light was there after it was done! Called Brandon after they already charged me, and he took the car back in. came out and now they have to tell me the truth: "actually we agreed to reprogram the car for the light to disappear, if it doesn't, that means you bought faulty censors from Mavis. You got to go back to them" . Really? Either they are big time crooks or they assumed i am total moron. If the censors are faulty, they would have known and simply give me a choice. They went on to lie in my face and collect $90.00 for just to plug my car to some computer in 1 min and called it reprogramming. I was too tired to ask to speak to any manager. POOREST DEALER SERVICING I EVER EXPERIENCED. More

This service department has turned into a ripoff department. Used to get great service and was willing to pay a little more for real nissan parts. Now it's lousy service for crazy high prices. All the original service people are gone except the female service person. More

This does not include the additional $1500 worth of unnecessary repairs they recommended. Nissan likes to use the argument that their mechanics are specialized to deal with Nissan vehicles. Don't believe them, I'll take an experienced honest mechanic over any of the guys at Central Avenue Nissan. And Henry, the head of service....we can have a dialogue here on this site. I know the owners treat most of you guys poorly but sooner or later, you lie to the wrong guy, who doesn't blindly follow your recommendation and actually check your work. More
Nissan might be the most poorly run Japanese car company Owned or leased a Toyota, Honda and a Subaru. Nissan has been the only bad experience. The car has needed a lot of service. Paying for extra warran Owned or leased a Toyota, Honda and a Subaru. Nissan has been the only bad experience. The car has needed a lot of service. Paying for extra warranty and service coverage is usually a bad decision, it wasn't with my Nissan Murano. The dealership I bought the car from (White Plains Nissan) has closed down due their consistently poor ratings. Central Avenue Nissan might be going in the same direction. Their compensation system encourages their mechanics and service department to recommend unnecessary work. I brought my car in for an oil change and was told by the service rep that Nissan "recommended" over $3000 worth of repairs. I took the car to two independent mechanics who both told me that they were recommending some unnecessary work and was overcharging on the work that was necessary. The cost to repair was a little more than $1500. DO NOT USE CENTRAL AVENUE NISSAN FOR REPAIRS WITHOUT FIRST GETTING A SECOND OR THIRD OPINION!!!!!! These guys are great at making it sound like they are doing you a favor. I did not give them a rating for their quality of work because I did the repair with someone else. More
Con Artists Buyer beware. As a young lady I feel this Nissan dealer tried to rip me off. I was quotes over $3,000 for repairs that did not need to be done to my Buyer beware. As a young lady I feel this Nissan dealer tried to rip me off. I was quotes over $3,000 for repairs that did not need to be done to my car. $1400 for a leak on a part that was already replaced by a difference dealership and $2200 for a whole muffler system when all my car needed was a minor repair costing me $100. I spoke to the owner, Mark Brennin, who instead of being apologetic and offering to do something about this criminal misconduct, he gets offended and hangs up on me. I put in an official complaint with nissan north america's consumer affairs. Do not trust these guys, they will rip you off. Thank God I got a second opinion. More
I feel like I got scammed I've been here 3 times. First time was for check engine light. I dropped my car off pretty quickly. I came back in the evening to pick up a rental. I I've been here 3 times. First time was for check engine light. I dropped my car off pretty quickly. I came back in the evening to pick up a rental. I waited over an hour for William to give me the rental vehicle. When I finally got the rental, William said the it just had some pollen on the outside. I open the door and it wreaked of cigarette smoke. Waited again for it to be washed. When I waited for the car the paperwork still was not ready. Second visit was for an oil change and I clearly told Tony I had an issue with a clicking noise coming from the front axle. They sold me an engine air filter and did not mention the very obvious clicking at all. It would have been nice to have that addressed instead of being sold an engine air filter. I returned again 2 days later for the clicking sound and had my battery jump started the day before. William was my advisor this time. Check in was pretty quick, but again I got a dirty rental. He did me the "favor" of giving me a battery and charged me $125 to retorque the front axle nut. It took the tech all of about 13 or so minutes to complete this job. This is a known issue with practically every model Nissan has put out. Warranty pay for this is 0.6 hours according to the bulletin Nissan. I waited about 30 or so minutes because William was MIA and had not done the paperwork even though the tech finished with the car before 10:00am and it was after 5:00pm by now. They he tried to make a comparison with medical insurance. Needless to say I would not return to this dealership willingly and would not be purchasing anymore Nissan vehicles. More
