Dont have a clue on how to fix a electric car ! Sent me home with a car that failed on the way home after telling me there was no problem even though I showed them video evidence that there was. Still char home with a car that failed on the way home after telling me there was no problem even though I showed them video evidence that there was. Still charged me for their failing to identify the problem the first time. If they dont have the skills to service the Nissan Leaf they should not try to repair them. First time and last time I will ever go there. More
Big Time Waste Of Money And Time!I was there today for Big Time Waste Of Money And Time! I was there today for oil change and tire pressure or tire maintenance light issues. Upon arrival, I got called by Big Time Waste Of Money And Time! I was there today for oil change and tire pressure or tire maintenance light issues. Upon arrival, I got called by a Gentleman called Brandon. I explained him my situation where my main issue is that tire pressure light. My drama and mysterious light came with car as i bought it used. First, it was Mavis tire discount: they made me change 3 valves/censors after testing all of them. light didn't go away. Now their excuse is that, Nissan dealer has the proper computer to reprogram it and it will work. Today I decided to visit Nissan dealer, and then explained the whole thing. Technically, this is my last resort for my issue to be solved. NO. Big mistake. They took my Altima 2009 in, gave me 2 hours, come back, and the light was there after it was done! Called Brandon after they already charged me, and he took the car back in. came out and now they have to tell me the truth: "actually we agreed to reprogram the car for the light to disappear, if it doesn't, that means you bought faulty censors from Mavis. You got to go back to them" . Really? Either they are big time crooks or they assumed i am total moron. If the censors are faulty, they would have known and simply give me a choice. They went on to lie in my face and collect $90.00 for just to plug my car to some computer in 1 min and called it reprogramming. I was too tired to ask to speak to any manager. POOREST DEALER SERVICING I EVER EXPERIENCED. More

This service department has turned into a ripoff department. Used to get great service and was willing to pay a little more for real nissan parts. Now it's lousy service for crazy high prices. What department. Used to get great service and was willing to pay a little more for real nissan parts. Now it's lousy service for crazy high prices. What the heck happened. All the original service people are gone except the female service person. More

Ready to Purchase ... and the deal changed. 5/13/2020 To Mr. James Rourke, owner Central Avenue Nissan Dear Mr. Rourke, You probably don't get involved in these matters, but I had a had an 5/13/2020 To Mr. James Rourke, owner Central Avenue Nissan Dear Mr. Rourke, You probably don't get involved in these matters, but I had a had an issue this morning that prevented me from buying a car at your dealership today. Yesterday, I inquired about a 2015 Nissan Rogue SV (stock # 13158U) for my daughter and spoke several times with a very polite salesperson, Eric. Since I reside in Great Neck, I asked Eric to give me a final out-the-door price for the vehicle. The price breakdown was $11,405.00 + taxes $1194.56 + Plates $202.00 + CPO $1995.00 + cash payment non rebate $450.00 - which made the total for the vehicle - $15,246.56. This morning I called and agreed to the price and asked to have an afternoon appointment to see and test drive the car. I was then told by Eric that there was a mistake and that because the car is a 2015 it cannot be a CPO vehicle. When I asked if the $1995.00 for the certification would be removed - bringing the price down to $13,251.51 he said no. He told me that the price would be that same that he quoted me - without the CPO status. I asked him why - and he handed me off to your GM, Nelson. Nelson explained that the price was going up on the car tomorrow and that your dealership already put a lot of money into repairs to make the car ready for sale. It almost appeared as though he was saying I should be grateful to get the car at the $15,246.56 price - even though it would not have the 7 year warranty. As a consumer, I found this very distasteful and one that did not reflect well on your dealership. I don't expect that this will have any bearing on this sale, but as business owner myself I thought you might have a concern about the optics of this transaction. As I am not certain that you will receive this message, I will follow-up with a letter. Very Sincerely Yours, Dr. Stein More
I can’t believe the nasty minded people that works here. I leased a 2017 Nissan Sentra from here and when I took the car in for service they tried telling me I have to pay for a part that is under warranty, I leased a 2017 Nissan Sentra from here and when I took the car in for service they tried telling me I have to pay for a part that is under warranty, then they said I am responsible for the labor I had to fight with them for 2 days until they gave me back the car. Now that my lease is up I tried taking another car from them and they convinced me to leave money down on a car so the deal can go through. The deal did not go through and they refuse to give me back my money. I will never again lease a car from here and I Will be escalating this issue to corporate. More
Terrible experience. I normally don't write bad reviews for places because I get everyone is just trying to do their job but my experience at Nissan Yonkers was the worst I normally don't write bad reviews for places because I get everyone is just trying to do their job but my experience at Nissan Yonkers was the worst dealer experience I've ever had. It didn't start out bad, the salesman took me for a test drive and I loved the car. I was actively looking and ready to buy. The salesman got me down to around what I wanted to pay per month with a certain amount down. I signed and gave an initial $500 deposit then things got bad. First, initially I had been told, the salesman would be taking my current Jeep lease back to the Jeep dealer and paying all fees associated with it. This turned into they would cut me a check to pay Jeep but they were unsure about any extra fees. Sketchy no? I agreed anyway. Then I went to speak with the finance person and what the salesman had failed to mention is the amount I agreed upon do put down didn't include taxes, fees, etc. So my down payment was $1000 more then I agreed to. Also, you are charged a fee for using a credit card (I've never had that before). I was over the entire situation and just wanted my $500 back. The salesperson insisted on trying to lower the price, etc etc, but at this point I didn't trust a word he said. One of the finance guys came over to speak with me and told me they don't usually give deposits back and they tried to work with me and he never had even heard of my previous leasing company (like that mattered in the situation?). I could not wait to get out of there at that point. Not only did I feel disrespected and lied to (probably partly because I was a young female by myself) but I felt incredibly discouraged to even keep looking at other dealerships. I highly recommend you avoid here unless you like hidden fees and pushiness. I was there for over 5 hours and left with nothing but a headache. I just bought a new car yesterday and let me tell you, it was the 100% opposite of that experience (no hidden fees or taxes, no one pushing me to buy anything, no one making me feel bad, no extra fees on my deposit of $5000 and the entire process was less than an hour and a half). If you can, avoid Yonkers Nissan. It's not worth the headache. More

This does not include the additional $1500 worth of unnecessary repairs they recommended. Nissan likes to use the argument that their mechanics are specialized to deal with Nissan vehicles. Don't believe them, I'll take an experienced honest mechanic over any of the guys at Central Avenue Nissan. And Henry, the head of service....we can have a dialogue here on this site. I know the owners treat most of you guys poorly but sooner or later, you lie to the wrong guy, who doesn't blindly follow your recommendation and actually check your work. More
