This is my second vehicle I purchased through this dealership and each visit from oil changes to purchasing a car were positive experiences. Every person I came in contact with was very nice and respectful. I did not feel rushed or pressured into anything and my needs were met. My most recent visit was with Vinny R. I purchased a 2024 Santa Fe and he made it happen with flying colors. My experience with Vinny was by far the most flawless experience when purchasing a vehicle. He was very attentive and made sure I got the best deal. I will for sure make sure I see Vinny whenever I come back to this dealership. More

This is one of the disappointing purchase o ever made. I was nothing but nice the entire time. I never raised my voice and I always remained understanding. If I am being honest, his numbers mattered more to him than his actual customer service. I can understand it’s how they make their money, but if I were him I would care more about hopefully having a return customer than the numbers. For sure they were not trying to move off of the price. But what else can you expect from a car dealership. My problem is and continues to be the aftermath we of a purchase. First of all I needed brand new seatbelts, which they took care of but it took 2 -1/2 -3 weeks after the fact. It was like the previous owner literally chewed the entire two sets of seatbelts. My registration took over 4 weeks to obtain. But see my problem is that EVERY time I called it seemed as if I was the problem. And I called possible 1-2 times a week. How am I the bad guy? If I walked in, you could tell I’m not the person he wanted to see. The car I purchased only had 23000 miles, I mean how much drama was I really expecting? Now the wireless charging does not work, he took a look at it and said he would help me schedule an appointment….. NEVER happened. I just did everything myself. This dealership is not one I would ever return too. I was warned not to go there because this dealership is shady. I really tried to give them a shot and make my own judgement. I promise I will never return, nor my family or friends. I’m highly highly disappointed. More

I have been a customer at Centereach Hyundai since 2019 and have been very satisfied with the sales team there. I have had 3 different sales people and they have all been great. They work with you and make and have been very satisfied with the sales team there. I have had 3 different sales people and they have all been great. They work with you and make sure that you are completely satisfied with your purchase. My Sales specialist Brianna Barnett was top of the line and should be considered a top asset to the dealership!! ** Unprofessional, Condescending, and Dishonest Experience** I had a frustrating experience at Centereach Hyundai due to their finance manager's unprofessionalism and misinformation. Despite my Experience** I had a frustrating experience at Centereach Hyundai due to their finance manager's unprofessionalism and misinformation. Despite my salesperson's great service, the finance manager tried to dissuade me from using the Hyundai Circle Program, which offered $3,800 off the total price. I felt uncomfortable as a woman, as he treated me like I was uninformed about financing and questioned my credit union's rate in front of me. He falsely claimed I couldn't combine the Hyundai Circle with my own financing, which Hyundai Motor America confirmed was untrue. Why would I pay more for a car? The finance manager offered a $588 monthly payment without revealing the interest rate, while my credit union offered $335 per month. To make matters worse, my son overheard him making derogatory comments about me. After putting down a deposit, I was told the car wasn’t available, causing a major inconvenience since I had already secured my loan. Calls for updates went unanswered, leading me to cancel the check. Only after I requested my deposit back did they call to say they had located a new vehicle. Throughout the entire process, they were rude, condescending, and tried to rip me off every chance they could. All in all, they would have screwed me if I had not done my research and been observant. Hyundai Motor America apologized for the issues, filed a complaint, and advised me to go to another dealer. Another dealership offered a better price, more for my trade-in, and honored the Hyundai Circle Program with special Hyundai financing—all things the manager at Centereach said couldn't be done. I don't recommend Centereach Hyundai due to this experience. I had a completely different, positive experience at another Hyundai dealership—they were straightforward and professional. I just wanted to share my experience because I could definitely see a vulnerable person being screwed over BAD here. More
