After working with him on purchasing a 2010 Santa Fe I was introduced to the Credit Manager Mike Doyle, an ordeal I had dreaded the most from past experiences. My fears were unfounded as Mike was great going over the details, etc. Overall, I have to say that this was the most unstressful buying experience I ever had and went home with such enthusiasm instead of continually thinking to myself that I could have done better or that they screwed me. Peter was very thorough during my entire visit at Mid Island Hyundai. He was very attentive to my needs and did not make me uncomfortable at any point like some salesman tend to do. I actually rally shopped around. I had a CRV and had a severe car accident and was able to shop carefully before I had to make a decision. I went to Mid Island Hyundai looked at some 2012 cars then checked out other brands. I could not find a car that had the safety ratings and economic fuel ratings that the Hyundai could offer. I then checked out another Hyundai dealership but found that the sales personnel did not treat me with the respect that the Centereach Dealership did. I found Anthony to be knowledgeable and caring. He listened and was willing to go out of his way to show me different models and explain the differences. I found a 2013 Tuscon in a beautiful red color and fell in love. (far from the silver/blue Santa Fe 2012 I thought I wanted) It has been 4 days and I am in love with my new beautiful car. Thanks to Anthony, and Mike who walked me through the whole deal. I must say that after visiting another dealership on Long Island, I was so pleased to meet Peter Marcus at Mid Island Hyundai. Simply put, Peter is outstanding to work with. He is professional, knowledgable, NOT at all pushy, and happens to be a super nice guy. My 2000 Ford Explorer seemed like it was gonna go and given my new job I felt it was time for a new car. I think I was a bit of an easy sell, I didn't exactly know what kind of car I wanted and things li given my new job I felt it was time for a new car. I think I was a bit of an easy sell, I didn't exactly know what kind of car I wanted and things like cost and gas mileage weren't really an issue for me as long as the payments weren't astronomical. While I was looking for something like the Genesis Coupe and the Azera as well, while I could afford them Will kept pushing for the Sonota and I think that's a good thing. Throughout the process he explained everything extremely well from the bluetooth feature right down to the key battery charger. I felt like there were things he told me about the car that I think other dealers would've been more then happy to just hand me the keys and send me on my way. The cars basically sell themselves as long as you somewhat know what you want. But the service here for my buying experience was excellent and I'd refer anyone who's in the market to this dealership. More
Jimmy was very patient with us. We came in about a promotion post card we had received. We had owned an Elantra and had upgraded to a Santa Fe back in 2001. We also owned a 2003 Nissan Murano. We were sort of in the Market for new cars and had talked about buying new ones for months. Jimmy was the perfect man for the job. He listened asked questions and let us look at different cars until we found what we wanted. One car for traveling with lots of stuff and a roof rack. And one car that had great gas mileage. A Santa Fe trade for a Santa Fe and Trading the big Murano for a smart Elantra. He had it tough with me cause I was a pain with the colors. But he was patient and showed me options and we met in the middle. He was terrific. Jeffrey was great too. He did the finances. Again, I'm not the easiest fit but he made it work and my mom and I couldn't be happier. It was tough especially since the Murano was my Dad's car. He passed in 2009. So, it was like saying goodbye to my Dad at the same time. But the men were so warm and thoughtful that honestly until I started driving home did I realize that I felt like I had just left my dad's car back in Center Reach with some friends instead of feeling sad. Which says a lot for the relationship building portion of the job that these two gentlemen did. Great job all around. I would highly recommend Mid-Island Hyundai but I would Highly recommend both these gentlemen to take care of my friends if they were in the market to purchase a vehicle. More
