I had purchased a Hyundai in 2005 from this dealership and my experience was good. So when I needed a new car I revisited this same dealership and received the same good quality of service I had in the pa and my experience was good. My sales rep.Peter Marcu was exremely helpfull not aggressive and thorough with explaining all aspects of my purchase. Mid-Isand Hyundai is nothing like Atlantic in West Islip.They may be owned by the same corporation but there service is no comparison. I would recommed this dealership. Finance Dept. was somewhat deceiving. said I was entitled to free oil changes for purchasing new but after reading my bill of sale I noticed this was a prepaid maintenance program that cost $499.00 this was not disclosed at the time of sale had it been I never would have agreed. We were in to Look at ELANTRA 10/10/12. I wanted POWDER BLUE so he said we could have the Floorroom model which had EXTRA'S which we didn't want or need for the same price. He LIED and leased it to us for BLUE so he said we could have the Floorroom model which had EXTRA'S which we didn't want or need for the same price. He LIED and leased it to us for a lot more than we wanted to spend. Also told us to put more down to make payments less. We never leased and we were not aware that the money put down on lease is then LOST to us. This man Ronald L Rengstl, should not be selling cars. He does not tell the customer the truth. He told us we would get the car for $19,020. Then switched it and the cost was $25,000. He said he had coupons that he had to make the price cheaper yet it was $5000.00 more than we wanted to spend. We went back on 10/11/12 talked to Howard. I still feel like we were taken but we were able to purchase the car rather than lease it. I wanted out of this deal and he wouldn't let us out of it. BEWARE of this DEALERSHIP I will never go back to them. Never we were HYUNDAI people since 2001 Sonata and 2002 ELANTRA. More

We were shopping for a used car for months. We were in no rush, so we were looking for a great deal. Dealer after dealer left a bad taste in our mouth due to shady pricing, hidden fees, and below standar no rush, so we were looking for a great deal. We decided to take a trip to Mid Atlantic one evening and met with Mike Elder. Shortly into our meeting, we knew this was the place and this was the man from whom we would be buying a car even though we had no specific car in mind. The dealership is immaculate and Mike was friendly, straightforward, and no xx. There's always the dance of negotiating the price, but if you know what you're talking about you will get a great deal at this place....and ask for Mike, the other salespeople seemed ok but why take a chance. Ken Wood sold us on the 2013 Hyundai Sonata. It was our intention to visit Mid-island Hyundai and walk away with test driving a Sonata, instead we purchased and drove away in our 2013 Hyundai Sonata.
