Lekwa (the store manager is a genuine man) I traded a 2011 Sonata in to lease a 2015 turbo charged Sonata from Rick the salesperson at Mid Island Hyundai. The car is beautiful to say the least I traded a 2011 Sonata in to lease a 2015 turbo charged Sonata from Rick the salesperson at Mid Island Hyundai. The car is beautiful to say the least and drives great! Rick is really a nice gentlemen and I would recommend him to anyone considering a new car. There was a discrepancy with the amount of money I was supposed to be receiving(a check) for the difference of my trade in and the loan payoff. I was unable to solve this problem with one of the managers at Mid Island Hyundai which was extremely frustrating and was dragged out for too long. As soon as I spoke with Lekwa Nnate he requested that I come in to see him and that he would "take care of me." The next day, I met with Lekwa who was exceptionally nice and went above and beyond what I would have expected someone to do. He made sure to resolve this issue immediately. I am very thankful Hyundai has people working for them like Rick and Lekwa. More

Bad service I went in with no heat in my sonata. Service dept told me I had a bad heater core and cost of repair was 1000 dollars. I left to think about it and sp I went in with no heat in my sonata. Service dept told me I had a bad heater core and cost of repair was 1000 dollars. I left to think about it and spoke with a few friends. Everyone said no way was it a bad heater core. I nearly spent 1000 dollars. I looked up no heat and the first hit was a bad door actuator. Sure enough the repair took me 25 min and a 30 dollar part. I would think the repair department should have caught this. Disappointed. More

He also set up my blue tube so I could start using it right away as well as my radio. I would also like to express our great experience with Sales Manager Bill Mackay who we have dealt with on several occasions. He was most helpful getting the best deal that was financially workable for us. He did not stop until we were happy with the figures. My only complaint is the amount of time it takes to complete the process. We were there almost 3 hours. (this is our 3rd Hyundai lease) More

Jason Cantone is PHENOMENAL!!! After researching several cars, my wife and I had narrowed down our selections... The whole experience, from start to finish, really was like saving the "Best for Last!" We feel blessed to have met / worked with Jason Cantone -AND- would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone looking to buy or lease a new vehicle!!! To anyone reading this review, you definitely must make Mid Island Hyundai your last stop and Jason Cantone your preferred salesman! He is ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL!!! Sales man Patsy Bellomo was patience with me as I can be very difficult to deal with especially when making a major purchase. With that said Pasty wasn't pushy, aggressive and or impatient. He was very knowledgeable and actually steered me away from purchasing a vehicle that I didn't need so to speak. Really ??? YES !!! He could of sold me a vehicle with all the bells and whistles but that tells you a lot of the type of person he is and how he knew what I needed by just taking to me. That says a lot of the type of employees that Mid Island Hyundai hires.
