CROOKS! CROOKED MECHANICAL SERVICE! I brought my vw in for a problem, they diagnosed it as a timing issue, charged me about $1,000. They did NOT change valve cover gasket either, charged me parts / labor for a problem, they diagnosed it as a timing issue, charged me about $1,000. They did NOT change valve cover gasket either, charged me parts / labor almost $100. The cars been there over and over, and they do nothing to fix the problem. THIS LAST TIME, they told me it needs a transmission, yet no error codes came up before with them or the other vw dealer i went to. WHO CAN YOU TRUST? They overcharge by 4x or more for everything. WARNING ! DO NOT DEAL WITH FINDLAY UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF ! The staff are professional and polite, and tried to help but ended up advising me to get rid of my car and get a new one...HOW CONVENIENT! I WOULD NOT RATE THEM WITH A ZERO BUT THAT OPTION IS NOT AVAILABLE ON THIS SITE. GUESS WHAT? my CHECK ENGINE LIGHT is emitting again, at the time I picked up my car three days ago. More

I needed to bring my GTI in for it's 30,000 mile check up with oil change. Amber was extremely helpful in setting up an appointment over the phone. My check engine light came on Sunday just as I was planning a quick get away to AZ for Monday afternoon! As they are closed on Sunday I couldn’t make an appointment so I chose to be there when they op planning a quick get away to AZ for Monday afternoon! As they are closed on Sunday I couldn’t make an appointment so I chose to be there when they opened to see if they could help me out. Because they were booked for the day I thought maybe they wouldn’t even see me. However they did take the car in and although I had to wait they were able to get the part from another Findlay VW dealership and got it fixed in just about 5 hours! It was worth the wait as I was still able to make a 2 pm business meeting and still was on my way to AZ by 3:20! Thank you Findlay VW North for going the extra step to get me back on the road at no charge as my car is still under the bumper to bumper warranty! I appreciate your service. More
