Now eight months later the check engine light is on again. took it in for repair and was told the repair is not warranted because the part they used was not a VW part. I was not informed they use an after market part without any warranty. Now they will make the repair for $800.00 plus. I don,t think this is right. More
After several years of buying multiple cars for myself, I also brought not one but two of my kids to buy their first cars from Findlay North Volkswagen, never again! I've contemplated writing this as I don't want to speak out of anger but this is the 3rd horrific ordeal, and it is completely Unacceptable and deplorable. The sales - Poor - The lack of knowledge is due to poor training and constant turnover in this department. The sales department is horrible. I had to come in on three separate occasions just to purchase a new vehicle. I advised specifically of my situation and already knew what car I wanted before I came. I asked several people on several occasions throughout this nightmare if they were positive that everything that needed to do was competed because I knew my situation with my credit was changing. If they would've been honest from day one I would have a vehicle today. Day one(60 days ago) I had two salesman's on the first day who rushed me out without completing a deal which lead me to have to come back a second time and have run my credit AGAIN, another hit to my credit. The second time I was advised that everything was completed and I was good to go I was just waiting on my car to be delivered. The third time I came in I was hit with the truth, that the deal wasn't sealed and I had to do the process all over again which was A THIRD hit to my credit. My payments almost doubled and interest rate tripled. Lies, poor communication and horrible customer service. They need a complete overhaul of this department. I called up there 3 times, on top of my 3 visits, not once were they forthcoming. On day one, 2 months ago, I could of walked out with a brand new vehicle, now they have no sale and I have no car. Honesty and integrity goes a long way. This place has completely lost its touch. It used to be superb , now subpar is more like it. Stay away. This is not the vision that volkswagon has for their brand. The communication is horrible within the company and you can sense the tension with employees. Yes, they are salesman's and are there to make a buck but you can't make a buck if you're customers don't buy anything. Service, my car has been there 2 dozen times. Mainly because at least one thing it was brought in for was not completed so I had to come back again to get it fixed. I Had to go so far as to opening two claims through Volkswagen corporate. At the end of the day maybe it's management who needs to be reevaluated as the last two years this location has went completely downhill. Maybe start fresh with a whole new management who is in tune with what is really happening, or not happening. Customer service should be your top priority, figure it out. I will make sure to publish this everywhere to prevent others from getting screwed over too. They've lost my loyalty . More

I had a 2016 Golf with a leaky sunroof. The leak was patched. The entire process of scheduling an appointment and getting the leak fixed was very simple and straight forward.
