Short version - prepare for $8k in markups at Centennial Toyota. Long version - What a terrible experience! I connected with the internet manager for a car I wanted to buy, a new Corolla, and made an appointment. I told my salesperson I was tired of the bad service I received from Honda and I was ready to move on. That really should have been all my guy needed to know when presenting me with a price. My sales guy seemed nice, btw. I asked for the price of the car, as I only had the Sticker and the vehicle was in transit. My guy brings out the floor manager. The price they came out with was $8k more than sticker! $3,000 in Accessories (Clear Coat, etc) and a $5,000 “market adjustment.” On top of the 8k was the standard fare like tax/title/doc fee. I was presented with a $39k price. I let them know I wasn’t interested in the Accessories, and then the brief hard sell began on how important they were and that they did in fact add value to the car, over my objections. I even told them what accessories I was actually interested in! I told them those fees would need to come off and that we needed to get to MSRP. They left and came back to tell me we had no deal and I’d need to buy at the fully marked up price. I politely shook hands and left. A colossal waste of time. If you want to buy a new car, know what you’re getting into at Centennial Toyota. More

Don't believe anything they say! Spoke with someone on the phone and asked specifically if they were charging "Market Adjustment" as we are not going to pay any adjustments at all, Spoke with someone on the phone and asked specifically if they were charging "Market Adjustment" as we are not going to pay any adjustments at all, period. Won't waste your time, don't waste mine. Was told if you live in NV that they are "willing to negotiate". So to them, willing to negotiate means trying to get you to pay some sort of adjustment. To them it means "How much of the adjustment are you willing to pay to make a deal happen?" We were 100% ready to buy a vehicle today, but dealer greed stopped it from happening. That's what I call it, dealer greed. It's 100% profit for them. NOT A MANUFACTURE INSENTIVE OR ACCESSORIES OR ANYTHING RELATED TO THE VEHILCE. I can wait out your market adjustment. Let some other schmuck pay over MSRP. We as consumers need to do better and stop buying. Once we do that, watch how the market normalizes again. So we were also looking at a TRD PRO which had $10,000 adjustment. Once I told them we wanted to title it in Montana, the adjustment jumped to $25,000. ARE YOU SERIOUS?! Also, basically increased the price of the vehicle if you were not registering it in NV. How does that even make sense?! Why does it matter to you as a dealer where I register it. Absolute crooks! Do not go here as they bait and switch you once you're in the door. Will never do business with them, let alone any dealer that is charging "market adjustment"! We control the market once we control the urge to pay what they ask for. More
The service at this dealership, more specifically, the service department has been the worse experience my wife and I have ever experienced in any Toyota dealership; or for that matter, any dealership in service department has been the worse experience my wife and I have ever experienced in any Toyota dealership; or for that matter, any dealership in general. Our service representative was rude, unhelpful, disrespectful and lacked any type of professionalism. Outside of one service person, the rest of the staff, inluding the service manager were unprofessional, dismissive, demeaning and not forthcoming. When speaking to the manager, rather than attempting to correct the situation, or atleast be helpful, insisted that my wife had no clue about what she was talking about and lied about the entire situation. The unfortunate thing about all of this is that my wife worked for Toyota, and her and I have purchased/owned 4 Toyota vehicles over the past 6 years and have been loyal Toyota customers for as many years. We relocate to the North Las Vegas area and our mistake was to expect the excellent Toyota service we have become accustomed to receiving in other Toyota dearlerships in other states. It is sad that this is not the case, and my wife and I have been left with a very bitter experience that will drive us away from purchasing a Toyota at this dealership. And perhaps look at a different vehicle brand for our next purchase. First impressions matter, and customer service and treatment leave a lasting impression, all aspect which these dealer greatly failed at making good on. During her time at Toyota my wife would constantly expressd how much the brand prided itself on treating customer well and providing excellent customer service. And so it saddens me to write this review, but after this experience, I feel that it is necessary for this dealership's upper leadership/management to be aware of their staffs in the service department shortcomings. With that said, I truly hope this review manages to capture the proper attention so that this issue rectified for current and future customers, because ultimately the service department is as much part of the experience as purchasing the vehicle if not more important given that it is with this department that a Toyota customer will have the long term relationship with during his/her ownership of their Toyota vehicle. Carmela Deocampo saved Centennial Toyota! In the past when interested in Toyota products I always dreaded this location because most of the sales associates are extremely overbearing. The f In the past when interested in Toyota products I always dreaded this location because most of the sales associates are extremely overbearing. The financing staff as well as service and all other employees are wonderful. When it comes to SALES, I will only communicate with Carmela. She’s like a sweet mom that wants to work hard to help you, treats you like family, respects your space, and gets you want YOU WANT…not what SHE WANTS to sell. Thank you Carmella for being wonderful, I tell anyone I know that’s interested in a new/used Toyota purchase to come to YOU!! More
