Went there for a car they had in the sales flyer. Of course, the car was "sold yesterday" and was no longer available. The salesman then proceeded to try and sell me another car that I had no interest course, the car was "sold yesterday" and was no longer available. The salesman then proceeded to try and sell me another car that I had no interest in. He and the finance guy tried to sell me a different car, which again I had no interest in. I wanted an Impala, but they said I wasn't able to purchase that ( which is odd since I had a pre-approved $30,000 loan). Long story short, they chose to push two different cars on me rather than the one I wanted (I'm guessing they would've made more commission off of them). As I was leaving, the finance guy was knocking on my window trying to get me to come back in. I will NEVER set foot on this dealership again! Waaaay too pushy!!!! More
Was pre approved for a loan through "RoadLoans" initiated by cawood, so we get the loan setup go in to look around... first thing i notice is not a single price listed on any of there used vehicals initiated by cawood, so we get the loan setup go in to look around... first thing i notice is not a single price listed on any of there used vehicals.. not one, first visit i look around find a 2003 tracker 4cyl... these cars go from 9,000-12,000 at most in this area... i tell the guy i was pre approved and he tells me he can do it for 14-15 thousand.. the limit of the used car loan. then i call later talk to the salesman that initiated the contact and he says that "roadloans" gives them an offer they basically put in an offer and roadloans tells them how much they are willing to spend. thought that kinda odd considering roadloans gives you a blank check and pretty much you shop like you have cash in hand.. so i go back again trying to get a price out of them tell them the going rate in the area what others i have looked at the salesman grabs his manager... he comes in gives me the same line, roadloans determins the amount of the loan not them.. so then i think its fishy i call up road loans talk to a district manager and ask him if its true, if this is some special case.. he said no way they dont even discuss price with the dealership thats stricktly between them and the customer the only time they come back is with a denial letter if its over say 120% BBV and then they list how much over blue book they are willing to pay.. now my guess is with all these pre approved people seems to be younger couples like us they just try to get the most out of roadloans as they can and keep the buyer outta the loop till its time to sign."i saw a yonger couple drive out with a 2002 neon for over 14,000 that car should have been 8,000 at most for this area. the way they haggled called all the time but would never give a price very shaddy. not sure about the new lot but i will never go to the used lot again. After i find all this out selected a new dealer and find the tracker i wanted for a price i wanted he calls me up and ask when im comming in.. i tell him i thought it a little odd they wouldnt give me a price, and that roadloans said they have no say in the final sales price just approve or deny, he got quiet and said he could give me a deal, i just brushed him off and hung up.. very disapointed big waste of our time.
