I just purchased a used certified vehicle. (The vehicle its been with them for 4 days now) Called earlier for the status, and told me that a Rep would call me back ASAP. two hours later still no call. called again same answer. I was given a quote of $1233.94 which I could not believe. Genuine O.E.M. Toyota sensors go for about $69-$97 online. So, let’s say you buy all four online for $400 with shipping. Installation time is about 45 minutes, but if the install guy is slow about 1.5 hours. So, let’s say 1.5 hours at Cavender’s hourly rate of $185. This comes out to $278 for labor. How in the world can Cavender justify charging $1233 for a repair that should cost about $678.00? Now I know they must make some money, but charging an extra $555.00 on a job that takes about one hour is simply highway robbery. On top of that, I’m sent a list of recommended services. One was “Oil and filter change with multipoint inspection” and the price shows $44.40 with NO other “additional charges” or fine print stated. So, I accept the $44.40 oil change service. When I go to pick up my vehicle, they attempt to charge me $118. I complain and ask to speak to the service advisor. The advisor informs me the $44.40 is for the labor only. I once again show them the email that I was sent that clearly shows “Oil and filter change with multipoint inspection” for $44.40 with NO fine print or cost additions. He goes to talk to someone and comes back and only charges me the $44.40 To sum things up. I’d like to know how does Cavender justify charging $1233.94 for something when their cost for parts is probably well under $400 and install time is realistically 1 hour? And secondly, what’s up with telling me the oil change is $44.40 via emailed quote and then try to charge me $118 when I go to pick up the vehicle? My advice when attempting to do business with Cavender, buyer beware!! More
My vehicle was dropped off for a 10,000 mile service and to fix a squeak in the rear end. After three weeks of awful communication with an incompetent service representative, I picked up my truck. Upon leaving the shop I pulled over to check my oil, as I noticed the oil light was still on. My vehicle’s oil was dark brown and my truck had not been serviced at all. The squeak has since came back and I will surely never be returning to Cavender Toyota for any business. Absolute incompetence across the board. Avoid Cavender Toyota and get your vehicle serviced anywhere else. More

When I took in my vehicle for maintenance, they found a recall and decided to correct it without keeping me abreast as to what was going on. A simple oil change turned into a five hour delay! Outrageous!! All they could do is apologize. More
We were having problems getting our second FOB for our new RAV4 from Toyota Corp so we decided to go to the dealer to see if they could help. Mr. Abraham Mendoza met us and was very polite and profession new RAV4 from Toyota Corp so we decided to go to the dealer to see if they could help. Mr. Abraham Mendoza met us and was very polite and professional. After listening to our issue and concerns, he immediately started making calls and researching the status of our FOB and within minutes was able to find the FOB and schedule an appointment for us to pick it up and have it programmed. Mr. Mendoza is an example of a true professional that goes above and beyond his duties and responsibilities to ensure that Toyota customers are totally satisfied with their Toyota experience. Rosana Palmer in the Cashiers Dept is extremely off-putting and unhelpful. I brought my fleet vehicle here for maintenance and was ready to pick up and cash out. I provided my fleet card to her and she attempted to run as C.C. and stated ITS DECLINED I stated to her you have to call the # on the card and speak with a representative to approve charges. She said I HAVE TO!? OR YOU HAVE TO!?? I paused ...and advised her yes .you have to. She pursed her lips huffed n puffed n got on the phone. I asked her are you not able to help me? She stated IM ASKING IF THIS IS A FLEET?! I stated yes . She stated WELL NOW IM ON HOLD.. Charges were approved and I went on my way but the unpleasant and unprofessional demeanor of this employee should be reviewed by higher up. The company I work for only has Toyota fleets and we will have to come here often for service on hybrid vehicles. If she is not willing to provide outgoing customer service and willing to help others without making you feel like u are irritating her or inconviencing her I would advise she get another job where she does not have to interact with customers. I will not interact or work with Rosana ever again. Good luck to anybody that has to interact with this woman. More

To them taking all the time searching for other maintenance not even asked for to charge more(they did that to everyone on the waiting room) I know for a fact they take advantage of people's time and overcharging for simple services. They tried charging 119 for an alignment and right when It was addressed they dropped it down to 109 which should have been stated since it's a special already. poor time management and management all together. The leadership should he ashamed how this place is being ran. Do better toyota!. More
The service center has become to a very respected service center to one of the slowest and most inefficient services. Waited 30 min for the car in front of me just to be checked in. There are a lot of service members at the check in areas but everyone seems to be moving at an extremely low space. I talked to the manager, and he said that they were doing their best. I don’t think so. They lost a client who has been with them for 7 years. More
