Scheduled an appointment to purchase a new vehicle. Took time off from my work to go purchase a vehicle. Test drove and accepted wanting to purchase vehicle. While doing procedures to purchase vehicle I noticed other salesman giving test drive in the vehicle I wanted to purchase. I was told low inventory was why they were using the vehicle I was purchasing . Before I knew it my sales rep came back and said another customer had purchased the vehicle I was doing the paperwork on. I had clearly test drove and started paperwork before the other people! Gonna Rant here. This is bull ! Never been treated like this at a dealership! I had been made an offer through True Car and scheduled an appointment to purchase the vehicle. All they can say is we’re sorry. This is unethical behavior! Be warned this dealership has crooked ways and all they can say is sorry. My wife was excited about getting a new car and Cavender Toyota ripped this right away from us. I understand cutthroat between salesmen but to screw a customer like this ! I have no words. Stay away. I would give them 0 stars but you most put 1 to give feedback More
Update on my review. I decided to give them a second try after having a small hiccup the first time. Let me just start by saying, this place has the WORST customer service in all of San Antonio. I went back in to get the recommend service for brake replacement. I told them I also wanted the tires rotated and the complimentary oil change I received from David Dickinson and multi-point inspection done. I dropped my car off on Saturday about 11am for my appointment. They then call me a few hours before closing and state that my vehicle will not be ready till Monday. I was very disappointed because I would be without a vehicle until then. Not sure why they over schedule on the weekend when they can't even complete a job. AND they didn't even bother to offer me a loaner vehicle until then. Come Monday, I go in to pick up my vehicle and go over the invoice. I had turned in several coupons I received in the mail and wanted to make sure they were reflected. I notice a $24.95 charge for a tire rotation. I initially went in to get my brakes replaced so to me it didn't make any sense for them to charge me for that if they were already replacing the brakes. They just had to move the tires after replacing the brakes. I told the receptionist that the tire rotation should have been complimentary with the oil change and multi-point inspection but she did not agree. Some other employee approached me and said that if I stated that I wanted the tire rotation done before the brakes then I would be charged...WHAT??? How does that make any sense? I went in for the recommended maintenance which was the brakes. You already remove the tires when you replace the brakes and the rotors so why would I be charged for a tire rotation as well? I'm already paying over $700 for the complete invoice and you want to slap on an additional $25 for a tire rotation. This service center either lacks common sense or they like to squeeze every penny out of you. I will never go here again. This is definitely the most unprofessional, unorganized, and incompetent Toyota dealership I have ever done business with. Thanks for supporting retired Military! More

Even when the car I had my eye on sold to someone else right before I was ready to buy it, he was eager to help me fi when I visited Cavender Toyota. He stayed with us throughout the purchasing process. In addition, he quickly followed through after we purchased our vehicle for some after purchase additions. Frank is excellent at his trade. We could not have asked for a better salesman. He is personable and dependable. His best quality and most admired was the ability to really listen to our needs and price range.
