We walked into Cavender Toyota to look at and test drive the Pruis models.. We had also been looking at the Nissan Rogue at another dealer, and were basically debating between the two cars. The experience we had at Cavender Toyota was outstanding! We worked with Spencer Herrera who was absolutely wonderful! He is pretty much the anti-car salesman. He was super knowledgeable, not pushy, very friendly, and gave us space when we needed to think about the decision - pretty much everything you want when making such a big decision. There were no "deals" or big discounts on the Prius models. I guess that is just because the Prius pretty much sells itself - they don't have to discount them! This was a big difference between Cavender and the other dealership we were working with on the Rogue (Ancira). The people at Ancira embody the typical car salesman - really nice at first, and then when it was time to make a decision, we told them we needed a day or two to think about it. This brought on the sales pitches, added discounts (which were actually pretty sweet) and sending over the manager, director, etc to try to talk us into it. It was so much pressure and made us feel really uncomfortable, and in the end, sent us to Canveder to look at other options. I mention this because this was the opposite of the experience we had at Cavender....I felt that they were really upfront with us, and were offering us the best deal they had. So refreshing! I learned later that the salesmen don't get paid a commission based on price of the car (rather on units), so I feel this has something to do with them not being as pushy as other dealers. Also, their showroom is extremly nice and very clean. They offered us bottles of water and had a fancy coffee machine - always a plus! I would say the only "con" of the whole thing was how long the process was. We were there a little over 4 hours, and exhasuted by the end of it - but I guess that's just how car buying goes - nothing against Cavender. To wrap this up, I will say that out of the 3 other cars I've bought, the experience I had at Cavendar Toyota with Spencer was the best. I highly recommend this dealership. Oh, and by the way, we LOVE our Prius! We are very happy with our purchase. More

Not once was I pressured into anything I was not comfortable with as a matter of fact It seemed more like I was shopping with a family member who was only interested in my needs and comfort I actually forgot I was with a dealer..lol. I was greeted at the front door by a friendly salesman, Jon Green. Jon asked pertinent questions to determine exactly what type of vehicle I was looking for. When I mendtioned that I had seen a specific pickup on Monday afternoon when the dealership was closed, he drove around the lot until that vehicle was located. Jon retrieved the keys, I test drove the vehicle, and we were able to conclude the sale later in the day. Overall a very pleasant vehicle buying experience. The only slightly negative experience was that it took over two hours to complete the make ready process for my new pickup, after completing the financing arrangements. Apparently quite a few vehicles were sold at exactly the same time and possibly some short handeded staff being the day after Christmas. More
Michael was very knowledgeable about a lot of the vehicles on the lot. He helped me make an informed decision based on his expertise and knowing what my needs were.
