I went in for an oil change & MADE AN APPOINTMENT. When I arrived, the service rep told me that there was a recall on the 3rd brake light of my Tacoma. I agreed to get it done since I was already th When I arrived, the service rep told me that there was a recall on the 3rd brake light of my Tacoma. I agreed to get it done since I was already there. My appointment was for 10:00 am, I got there early hoping that would make a difference. I didn’t leave until 2:30 pm!!! While waiting patiently & watching other customers come & go before me, I was getting restless. The rep comes back to inform me that they hadn’t even gotten to the recall yet. (The brake light). I told him I wanted to leave. At the beginning of the service he did ask if I wanted an Uber but I figured I’d wait believing it wouldn’t have taken a whole day of waiting just for an oil change & tire rotation!!!! He said he’d check on me in an hour or so to see if I had changed my mind & take an Uber home but he didn’t check on me thru out the whole day. I know they were busy but as a paying customer they should keep their word!!! I wound up paying over 100.00 just for the service I did get!!! 5 hrs of waiting with no complaint, they could have offered me a discount since they failed to get to the recall that I needed!!! That’s 5 hrs of my life that I won’t get back!!!! As nice as he tried to be I should have just gone somewhere else & not wasted my whole day of waiting!!! More

I walked the entire lot; looking at the available vehicles, and was not greeted or questioned by any employees. There was a group(at least 3-4) of them by the front entrance, all of whom were just ta vehicles, and was not greeted or questioned by any employees. There was a group(at least 3-4) of them by the front entrance, all of whom were just taking pictures of a presumably new vehicle on the lot. Will not be returning if their salesmen cannot even do their basic job. More

We were in the market for a Toyota Sienna XLE and James Barnes was more than eager to help. Though he had been working there for only a short while, he was well informed on the processes and the vehicle in Barnes was more than eager to help. Though he had been working there for only a short while, he was well informed on the processes and the vehicle in question. He displayed a great deal of enthusiasm and was highly motivated to make the deal happen. Though we failed to come to terms on the vehicle, it was not for a lack of effort on his part. The dealership was extremely professional throughout the entire process. We thanked James for his patience and wished him the best. We highly recommend working with James Barnes next time you're in the market for a vehicle, especially when working with Cavender Toyota San Antonio! More
Rigid and and anti-customer service policies. I live out of town. The dealership had a car we wanted in stock. Prior to making the drive I spoke with a salesman and verified the car I was interes I live out of town. The dealership had a car we wanted in stock. Prior to making the drive I spoke with a salesman and verified the car I was interested in was in stock - it was. I offered to put a deposit - the dealership said no. When I got on the road I spoke with a manager and told him that I was driving and would be there as soon as possible (about 3 hours). About 2/3 of the way to the dealership the manager called to say the car had been sold. Even though he knew I was in my way and couldn’t physically get there any faster. Complete waste of a day and extremely disappointed at the seeming lack of customer service and personal touch. Did they follow company policy - I’m sure they did. But it wasn’t the right thing to do. Out of town buyers - beware. More
