Updated review I bought a used Toyota Camry, sold by the salesman Richard. I spent a considerable amount of money on the "bumper to bumper warranty". Two days later I bought a used Toyota Camry, sold by the salesman Richard. I spent a considerable amount of money on the "bumper to bumper warranty". Two days later I called him about the arm rest on the door coming unclipped. He said when my plates come in, he'd have it fixed. So when I go to get my plates put on, he has the service center look at it and they realize there's a part broken that costs about $500. So he says basically tough luck because it's been too long after I bought it to have something fixed (even though he remembers our conversation two days after I bought the car) and the armrest isn't covered by my expensive "BUMPER TO BUMPER" warranty. Funny how that works out. 😒 Better off going to a dealership that actually cares about the customer. UPDATE: After posting this review, a customer service rep contacted me about the problems I experienced. He apologized and arranged for me to have a loaner car while the service department secured the armrest. While they did not replace the part, they did secure it and it looks fine to me. I appreciated this and would do business with this dealership again. More
Very Very Disappointed I have bought 2 vech from you all and went this past Saturday 6/10/17 and talked to one sales guy bc the normal guy I go to happens to be out right no I have bought 2 vech from you all and went this past Saturday 6/10/17 and talked to one sales guy bc the normal guy I go to happens to be out right now and was referred to 2 different ones// as we looked at Tundras and went through the credit process they stated that we only approved for 25k not more then that so we would need to get a car and keep it for a yr then come back and trade it in. Then stated that they were unable to get a hold of 2 banks to get the approval because it was to late on Saturday which you all close at 8 pm and it was 2 minutes till. The sales guy and his mgr stated that hey will contact us back on Monday by 10 am and that way they can get the approval for the car that would have had to get.. Great for us, but sad to say you all lost a sale.. We went online with our bank and in 30 seconds we got approved for 40k and went to Chevrolet and bought a brand new 2017 Silverado fully loaded. I will never go back and buy another vech and will let other know how disappointed we were in this since I had 2 vehicles that I bought from a good sales guy you have their and these 2 that we doubt with Saturday and never called us back were unprofessional. if you have questions on who it was your welcome to call me. They were very impatient with me, got upset that my boyfriend asked questions in regards to their interest rates. Francis would not show me the different loan options I was offered and would not let me see my OWN credit score. She is a very shady person, she stated that if the interest rates were to high, my boyfriend should just co-sign for me in a sarcastic manner. It came down to her manager giving me the option to take the car or not. I complained to the seller about how unprofessional Ms. Benavides was and that I did not want do any business with her. They assigned a new finance representative, he wasn't any better. He was rude because I was not interested in extended warranty. The reason I decided to purchase the vehicle was because it was the only all wheel drive RAV 4 available in close proximity. They were aware, and took advantage. I also sent the Toyota finance manager who was helping me a proof of insurance and they did not provide it to the loan officer. More
Repeat customer I just need to start with the fact that I've purchased 3 cars from Spencer at Cavender Toyota. I like him that much. I bought my first car from him in 2003, which is the same car I traded in for my new purchase. But back to why I like Spencer... as a kid buying my first car, he helped me stay within my budget & not go above my means. He didn't do a hard sell & play a lot of games, he told me the facts & let me make my own decision. When I bought from him again in 2010 he advised to finance by myself for the best apr rate, instead of jointly with my husband & getting a worse deal. Because of Spencer I made 2 smart car purchases, one I gave back with 90k miles & my other car that has 120k. I plan for my latest purchase to be just as long lasting. This time around Spencer didn't let me down. He showed me all the cars that I was looking at & I ultimately loved a car that he suggested, and at a price I wanted. Overall I will be back. More

Finance Dept Cannot take care of business I purchased a new vehicle on April 15, 2017. At the same time, I had a trade-in. After a couple of day, I called my credit union to see if the payof I purchased a new vehicle on April 15, 2017. At the same time, I had a trade-in. After a couple of day, I called my credit union to see if the payoff for my trade-in had been received. It had not, but it had only been a couple of days. I called again a few days later, and still no payoff from Cavender had been sent to my credit union. By now it's over a week later. I started calling the dealership daily trying to get answers. Finally on Saturday April 29 (two weeks after my purchase), I finally get in touch with Martin Silva. He indicated the check had been cut on April 20. He promised he would get back with me a provide a check number. That did not happen. Monday, May 1, I called again and Martin had a customer so I was transferred to David Reyes. I received the same run-around about the check and he was going to "run it down" and provide details. By this time, it was 7:50 pm. I demanded complete details by 12 noon on Tuesday. David did call back but I was unable to take the call. I called him back shortly and he told me the check was still at the dealership, it had been cut on April 20 but it had not been mailed. Now this is 17 days after I made my purchase and now a payment is due on the loan for the trade-in I no longer own!!!!! I have to make the payment because the LOAN HAD NOT BEEN PAID OFF!!!! Because of their negligence, I not only owe a note on my new vehicle, I still have to pay the note on the trade-in. This is not a joke! This was my first and last experience with Cavender. More

The mechanics said it still had the original oil filters and evidence of other things that where never changed and the car was 2 years old! Instead of helping us they kept pushing us to finance a new vehicle... ya never buying from them again!! More
