He understood the my mind was made up on the vehicle I wanted. He proceeded to show me what was available and explained the new features on the 2018. Then we began the paper work...No hassles...no haggling...no pressure. Arrived round 10am and was driving the new 2018 RAV4 by the noon hour. I always return to Cavender because in the past: that has always been my experience, plus, and Toyota has quality vehicles. Thanks Nick! ....I'll be back. More

Chris Rangel was very professional, considerate, and above all honest (rare I know) which is why I picked him to be my salesman for the second time. After many mental battles and debates I decided to take my 2018 Tundra TRD Sport back. I got in contact with Chris and he told me to come on in and he would take care of me. However, even knowing that “Cavendar” would do their best one still has to expect the worst but hope for the best. Wow was I wrong! They not only met my hopes but exceeded them in every way! Chris did exactly what he said he took care of me and got me into a 2018 Camry XSE. I seriously couldn’t be more happy and that’s why I keep coming back and tell as many people as I can. My son was interested in a used 2016 Mustang and was looking for a specific price range since he was going to pay for the Stay away from this place!! My son was interested in a used 2016 Mustang and was looking for a specific price range since he was going to pay for the car himself. After a lot of searching, we narrowed it down to 3 cars. One car was at one dealership and two of the cars were at Cavender Toyota. I submitted a request to Cavender concerning 2 Mustangs they had there using the Carfax site, and Anthony Rabago responded via phone call and then via email. I told Anthony that we would be buying a car that day, and the first thing I asked for was a buyers order with an out the door price for both Mustangs. He told me verbally that they didn’t send those to customers, but they would give me the final out the door price for the cars, which he did. I really wasn’t happy with this because I have always had dealerships send me the buyers orders (except 1 and I didn’t buy from them). So we told Anthony we would be going to San Antonio later in the day to look at the one other car and his 2 cars. He sent me videos of the 2 Mustangs he had, and my son told him we would be there somewhere around 6pm due to getting out of work at ~3.30pm, plus a 2 hour drive time for us to get there. When we finally arrived, it was 6.45 or 7pm because traffic was really bad. The white Mustang was visible and my son said “I want it, lets take it”. Well, Anthony came out introduced us to another salesman would who would be helping us, and that salesman and said he was sorry, but the white Mustang just sold! My son was quite angry since we had driven 2.5 hours to get there to see TWO cars and they KNEW we were coming, but sold the car anyway! The salesperson said he would show us the other Mustang and they would make us a good deal on it for the loss of the white Mustang. The salesman apologized again for them for selling the white Mustang, that there must have been some confusion and that it was a very busy place with 100+ salesmen. So he shows us the blue Mustang, we drive it and its ok, the crappy Goodyear tires cause a lot of road noise. When we get back to the lot, we inspect the car. The trunk lid’s rear facing portion has a broken plastic piece, and he tells us not to worry, that they will cut us a check and we can get it fixed. He then shows us black Mustang that we were not aware of before, and we drive it and it too is ok, not as much road noise, which is due to the fact that the rear tires are a different brand than the front Goodyears. I also noticed that the Carfax said the car had rear damage. I look underneath the car and notice that the spare tire location isn’t painted black like the rest of the car. Then I open the trunk, look where the spare is, (which is also not painted black) and there is a fair amount of water in there, not a little. So we scratch that car off the list since the “rear damage” noted in the Carfax was probably repaired and now the car leaks. The vin for this car black Mustang with water in the trunk is 1FA6P8TH9H5237239. Now for the bigger insult. We head back to the main sales building to leave, quite unhappy at them having wasted our time and as we are getting into the car, the salesrep says “Hold on, let me make sure the white Mustang is sold”. What the heck?? He comes back a few mins later and says, yeah it sold (it wasn’t where it was when we arrived either). As we are about to leave again, he says to wait a moment, goes back into the building and comes out with some other “management” guy who wants to shake our hands. We left at that point. I spoke to Anthony a while after starting this email, and he said he would look into the water in the trunk, and didn’t seem to know that we didn’t buy a car from them and that the white Mustang was sold out from under us. Thankfully, the car at the other dealership WAS held for us and we bought it, and its really nice, I’m impressed! More
