It was refreshing to talk with a salesperson who knew the product so well. We’ve been to a lot of dealerships through the process of deciding which car would be best for us and “knowledge of product” was not something many salespeople had. The actual purchasing process was okay. It was the typical dance of “walk away and *surprise* now there’s a discount from management”. I do think this old school sales method is ridiculous in today’s world of heightened transparency, but we played the game nonetheless. Probably should have continued to play it to get more of a discount, but I was tired. The best part of the o stall experience was after the purchase. Many salespeople are terrible with follow up and service after the sale. Steven went above and beyond. He’s remained engaged, thoughtful, and even drove to our house twice (once for a delivery of an add-on that came on late and the other was to drive our car back to the dealership to have a minor concern checked out by the service department). I’ve literally never seen that good of customer service from anyone in the car business. More
