Located originally at 317 Lexington Ave. , the dealership moved to its present location in 1997. It is only fitting, since the present location on Broadway, was the original site of the beginning of the growth of the Cavender brand in South Texas.
Started by James M. Cavender, and his twin sons, Jimmy and Billy, the dealerships are now moving into the 3rd generation of Cavenders.

Was stranded on side of the highway and GM Roadside dispatched Cavender's roadside tech to help me. He got there as quickly as traffic would allow (prior to the anticipated time of arrival), was courte dispatched Cavender's roadside tech to help me. He got there as quickly as traffic would allow (prior to the anticipated time of arrival), was courteous, and got my spare put on so I could continue on my way home. Great job! More

Absolutely Horrible! Worked me through the whole process. Then made me wait while they showed the car to someone else and Sold it to them. Manager never called me back an Worked me through the whole process. Then made me wait while they showed the car to someone else and Sold it to them. Manager never called me back and Salesman Diego Finally texted 5 hours later that He was sorry they sold it to other party! Really,really awful experience.! Bank was waiting for them to give invoice to Wire the money and I had a Car Hauling co set to pick it up . Worst Experience Ever ! RIchard Kyle More
