Located originally at 317 Lexington Ave. , the dealership moved to its present location in 1997. It is only fitting, since the present location on Broadway, was the original site of the beginning of the growth of the Cavender brand in South Texas.
Started by James M. Cavender, and his twin sons, Jimmy and Billy, the dealerships are now moving into the 3rd generation of Cavenders.

I bought my vehicle almost 10 years ago when the dealership was on broadway. I’ve only serviced it at Cavender and Carlos has always been my service representative. The service has always been super dealership was on broadway. I’ve only serviced it at Cavender and Carlos has always been my service representative. The service has always been superb and Carlos is excellent at what he does. The level of customer service excellence from the dealer, and Carlos in particular, has not diminished in my 10 years as a customer. I realize the dealership would probably rather sell me a new car by now, but I’m hoping Carlos and the service department keep this loyal customers car serviced for another 10 years. More
