That is coupled with a reputation from customer sales, service, and satisfaction. Located originally at 317 Lexington Ave. , the dealership moved to its present location in 1997. It is only fitting, since the present location on Broadway, was the original site of the beginning of the growth of the Cavender brand in South Texas. Started by James M. Cavender, and his twin sons, Jimmy and Billy, the dealerships are now moving into the 3rd generation of Cavenders. There are only two locations. Our experience is at the San Antonio Location. We are going to have to take the car back, yet again this month for additional warranty work. It seems to never end when you own a Cadillac.

Update 3/13/26: Took the car back to the dealer on Monday for an oil change, a recurring errant infotainment message, and a problematic power seat. NO communication or updates the entire week. This is what I have learned to expect from Cavender. I have asked for an update. I'll update this review later with how long it takes to get one.

Update 4/2/2026 . Finally got the CT5 back, again. It has become increasingly difficult to get honest and intelligent feedback on the car. We have no confidence that the lemon has been fixed. At this stage, communication is pretty much dishonest or nonexistent altogether. Bottom line - Don't buy from Cavender Cadillac. Don't buy a CT5. My mother who is in a nursing home always wanted to own a Cadillac. Her eyes lit up when we showed her pictures of the one we bought. She reminded me that she always wanted to own a Cadillac. The only positive in this story is that I was able to visit my mother again and tell her that she should be thankful that she never owned a Cadillac because mine was junk. She can now pass on without the regret of never owning a Cadillac. The older Buicks she drove were about as good as GM was ever gonna get. I am certain I will have more updates in the future. Check back often.
