"Covered" repairs cost $240 & issue remains On April 14th 2020 I brought my Chevrolet Cruze in for repairs that were covered by Chevrolet under a bulletin. After doing the covered repairs the t On April 14th 2020 I brought my Chevrolet Cruze in for repairs that were covered by Chevrolet under a bulletin. After doing the covered repairs the technician said that the vehicle was still "running rough" and he would need to do some diagnostics. SIX HOURS LATER, the only thing they could figure out was that I had "Bad Gas". It had 20% Ethanol (according to them) and that I must have accidentally put in some E85 Fuel on accident. I KNOW that I did not put in the wrong fuel. The station that I went to does not even cary E85 fuel and they had no other reported fuel issues. They suggested that I let them drain the tank and refill it (expensive option) OR fill it with "GOOD" fuel and let it run through the system. I went with the cheaper option. When I picked up the vehicle however it was running fine. In my opinion, there was nothing wrong after the covered repair. They charged me $240 for the diagnostics despite not having any sort of computer readout or anything to show the 20% Ethanol nor were any other repairs performed or suggested. After posting a bad Google review the "Owner" replied to contact them to try and resolve the issue. Ther Service Manager has always refused to listen AND refused to pass me along to the next person up the chain. The "General Manager" I talked to, took basic information, discussed it with the Service Manager, Talked to me again, said she needed to talk to the Service manager again and would call me back... She never did. NOW, less than 400 miles later, my check engine light is on again. I had the codes read and it is the EXACT SAME ISSUE (as listed on the Bulletin) as I brought it to them with. Despite them doing the "Repairs" they REFUSE to stand behind their service and re do the repairs that they OBVIOUSLY did NOT do properly in the first place. The Service Manager is smug and arrogant, the General Manager showed little to no interest in trying to even really understand the issue, let alone resolve it. More

Very Bad Customer Service I purchased a new 2015 Silverado from Castriota. I had to take my vehicle back for a re-call order, while I was there I had them look at my wheels, th I purchased a new 2015 Silverado from Castriota. I had to take my vehicle back for a re-call order, while I was there I had them look at my wheels, that the top coat of the wheels is coming off and the medal looks like is rusting... THESE WHEELS AND TIRES WERE A $2700 option. Castroiota personnel stated that they will help me if I paid ANOTHER $1400. I refused so now I have a 2015 Silverado with 19,250 miles that looks awful with these wheels. Will I do business there again xxxx NO if just one person reads this and goes someplace else to purchase their new vehicle, that would be super great because that's one less steak that Castrota personnel can put on their grill. I financed the remaking balance . Excited that evening I drove my car home around 8;30 pm . I noticed the next day my car was not detailed . I was not bother by this since I scheduled to have my new corvette detailed and the Butler coating done at Castriota for a additional fee. The day I went to have the butler put on my car I told the detail department not to place the butler until all the water spots and the car is detailed to perfection as it should have been the nite I took it home . I explain to the detail department that I want to see my car prior to placing the the butler on my car . The detail depart called me and my husband back told us they were not able to remove the water spots the car has on it from being on there lot . I keep this car garage and under a soft cover . The dealer said there was nothing they could do . My husband has taken my car to several detail and professional paint shops they all said they are nerves do to it being a new vehicle to damage the paint trying to remove the water stains . They all stated this was because the dealer left it on the lot in the sun and rain with out having good wax on the car . They all gave me estimates to detail with no guarantee to damage to the paint . Finally last week castriota agreed to remove water spots for free and I would pay for butler to be placed on the car. Once again we wanted to see the car after it was detailed prior to butler being placed . After dropping the car off for the scheduled appointment that supposedly the owners son in-law agreed to they called me back said that we have to pay for detail and no guarantee they can remove water spots . Same crap all over again my car only has 1700.00 miles on it it’s never seen rain since I owned it . Even though there not denying this they do not care . This is my second car bought from there and my absolute last . Time to get a lawyer since I have paint shop estimate in writing dated three weeks after I bought the car. Beware buyers go some were else once they have there money they do not care! More

Hidden costs/ Poor Service Beware hidden costs and add ons during purchase. They are notorious for adding fabric protector/ paint protector packages for an additional $1000. They additionally will charge $800 in dealers fees and another $600 in documentation fees. These additions consistently negate any incentives offered by Chevrolet. Blanche Bosley is good at getting you to come in but never follows through and misrepresents incentives. Their service department has taken a quick downturn in quality. The last few times I have had my car serviced, it has come back with filthy hand prints, no valve caps, and it sat on the lift for an hour and a half with my flashers on while the technician sat there on his phone eating lunch. Stay away! The only saving grace in service is Cathy Davidson. She is truly customer friendly and competent. Unfortunately, she doesnt service your vehicle. More

When I arrived Service Advisor Robert Romero Listen To my concerns of a Past Bad experience at a Different Dealers and Problems I was having with My Vette. He wrote everything down and Told Me not to worry any more. He then introduced me to the Service Mgr Nick Gilada who came out and Listened and Reassured me of My Vette was in Great hands. Rob then introduced me to the Tech that would be Working on My Vette, Mike Feola. Mike went Thru My Vette Repaired All my Concerns and Worries. and More. Rob even Called me to let me know what they found and how they were addressing the Problems and time it would take. Upon getting a Courtesy Loaner Car Gary The Car Sales Person Gave me a Brochure since I was Interested in the Model. When I Told Rob How I buy Option loaded Cars He rewrote the Loaner to a Loaded Equinox. Very Nice by the Way. I told Rob I was Interested in an extended Warranty and introduced me to Christian Dukes who Gave me information for my review with No pressure. P.S "I am Purchasing" I Always recheck My Vette After I get it back by washing it and Inspecting If anything was Damaged or not to my satisfaction This Time the First Time Ever My Vette was not only done right and More, but cleaner then I brought it to them. I Have told Many People of My Experience and will be Directing my Business and anyone one I can Tell to Castriota Chevrolet.
