Visited on two occasions, still got a partial fix. I cam in for an oil change and a squeaky clutch to be looked at on 9/12 at 3:30 PM. I was told the clutch cannot be looked at because I didn't have an I cam in for an oil change and a squeaky clutch to be looked at on 9/12 at 3:30 PM. I was told the clutch cannot be looked at because I didn't have an appointment despite the fact I called on 9/11 to try to set up an appointment, when I left a voicemail without reply I chose to visit the dealership in person on Thursday, 9/12. The advisor I worked with told me I would have to come back in the morning because the technicians will need a whole day to work on the clutch. I told the advisor that I am not taking a day off to have an oil change and to fix the clutch pedal. We made an appointment on 9/16 at 3:30PM. I came in, got the oil change and the clutch pedal lubed, despite me mentioning that the clutch pedal has been lubed before and the problem persisted a month later. The advisor assured me that if it does I will be able to come back and have it fixed at a later date. Bottom line: -It does not matter whether I have an appointment or not, an oil change takes 2 hours at your dealership. Spent 30 minutes extra after the car was dropped off by the valet before I was checked out by the advisors. -I do not see the fix for the clutch pedal as a permanent one, but a way for the dealership to prolong the issue so my warranty lapses. -I bought the car from your dealership. Everyone is super pleasant when a customer is buying a car, but when it breaks down, it becomes a huge problem to fix despite having a warranty. PS. I wish you all the best and would like to be objective. At the same time, does it really have to take 2 separate trips to the dealership and hours of waiting to get an oil change and clutch pedal fixed... More

REpair of nail in tire bought through a VW deadlership I own 2 VW, and my son owns 1. All bought through Larry Roesch in Elmhurst/Bensonville, IL. I had bought new tires from this dealership on the recomme I own 2 VW, and my son owns 1. All bought through Larry Roesch in Elmhurst/Bensonville, IL. I had bought new tires from this dealership on the recommendation during a scheduled maintenance visit. Yesterday, I noticed a nail in one of the tires. I took it to Fox Valley VW in Schaumburg as it was closer. I was given prompt service receiving for my car, and signed an initial quote of $0.00 Once the work was completed I was given a bill for $37.70. When I asked why, and after calls to both a national VW center, and the Larry Roesch dealership, I was told because I didn't have the correct coverage on the tires. During this discussion, the service guy, Steve, couldn't access any details about my car service record (all of which was done at VW). Then after agreeing to pay the $37.70, I had to wait over 30 minutes for my car to be brought around. It took me asking a receptionist to call back to the service group. After at least feeling that the Roesch dealership was taking care of me, I will never go back to Fox Valley for any vehicle service or purchase. In terms of tires, I've purchased many from Discount tires over the years for different vehicles and have always been treat well. I guess they will ALWAYS be my choice for future tire purchases. For a place that has signage up about being awarded the TORCH award, they failed to show me they deserve it. On 1 positive note, I spend some of the time waiting speaking with Ozzy on the sales floor, and he was very personable, polite, and enjoyable to spend a few minutes with. More
DSG trans , motor oil and Haldex oil change. Excellent experience, took about 3 hours as promised. Car was clean when returned, oil change sticker placed neatly on upper left on windshield. I contacted the dealership to notify them and they basically told me tough luck and that I should have inspected the car thoroughly before I bought it and that they can’t to anything about it. I am very unsatisfied and will never buy from this dealership again in my life. This entire experience has been horrible. More
