I had been searching the internet for a vehicle to replace my aging sable I came across a 2006 Mazda 3 at a good price from Pugi . I researched the car being unfamiliar with any of the Mazda product line . The ratings in all categories were excellent I sent an e-mail to Pugi for a possible test drive then I went back and forth with the decision on whether to plunk down close to $9,000.00 on a car. I finally sent back an e-mail stating I was no longer interested. Fate had it that I was in Downers Grove and passed by Pugi I thought what the heck I would stop in I was greeted by Brad and he said someone just at that moment was about the car I was interested in. I was ready to walk out when he said go have some of our coffee and if you can wait please do because the potential buyer was wavering on the decision so I waited chatting with brad then went in to talk to the manager and asked if I wanted to test drive the car he said the woman backed out of the purchase we tested the car and it was great. All the time Brad was congenial without a bit of pressure he explained the features on the car and I put a deposit down ,today I picked up the car and I am totally pleased with the whole experience it is the first time in a car dealer where there was no pressure and a friendly environment. I highly recommend Pugi and especially pleased at the way I was treated by salesman Brad Price a Happy Customer George Vincent of West Chicago Ill. More
I live three hours away but hadn't been able to find any Mazda Speed3's near me. I found one on Autotrader.com listed at the Pugi Mazda dealership. It was already listed at a great price, about $1500 less t Mazda Speed3's near me. I found one on Autotrader.com listed at the Pugi Mazda dealership. It was already listed at a great price, about $1500 less than NADA value. I wrote to the dealership on Thursday evening past business hours to ask a couple of questions. By 10 AM Friday morning I had received a response from Brad Price. He was awesome! He already had agreed that if I wanted to buy the car they would make some modifications to the front bumper. We emailed back and forth few times. My local dealer had one but his was priced a LOT higher. I asked Brad if the price was firm and he commented the price was great but they would accept a reasonable offer. I offered $1000 less and he accepted. Friday night I went to my local dealer to see if they would price match Pugi since the vehicles were nearly identical. They both had the same options but were different colors and the Pugi one had 5K more miles and my local dealer's car had new tires. While I was at my local dealer I called Brad who went outside TWICE to check things on the car for me. It was snowing and icy down by me (3 hours south) so I know it was even worse up there. I could hear the wind howling through the phone, but Brad still went the extra mile to check out stuff and try to give us an idea on how much tread the tires had. On Saturday when we arrived, Pugi's dealership was very welcoming. Since we drove 3 hours to get there we had to bring our dog. He hates to be left at home. While my husband test drove the car with Brad, Max (the dog) and I waited in the lounge area. Max and I got greeted by several employees including one gentleman who I think worked in service who went to his car to bring Max some of his own dog's stash of treats! How awesome is that?? We were there all afternoon and no one ever once said anything about the dog being in the dealership. Everyone was really nice to us and I was grateful they let us have Max with us because it was like a whooping -10 degrees outside with windchill! My husband liked the car but the tires were in worse condition than he had imagined. Brad had tried to explain how much tread was left using a quarter and I tried to describe this to my husband. I think had been hoping they were better. He told me he would rather have the one at the local dealer since the tires were new. He just hated the idea of buying a car (even at a great price) and having to buy new tires very soon. We were about to leave and Brad was with another customer. An older gentleman who was tall and wore glasses (pretty sure he was the sales manager, but I never got his name), approached us. I told him that my husband didn't want the car because of his concerns. He immediately offered to do something about the tires. He came back and offered to put new front tires on the car or discount it another $500. We were SOLD! Not only that but Brad told us he felt bad so they gave us a Certified Mazda Warranty at cost! It was by the far the most amazing car shopping experience I've ever had. I don't know if this is just the way of car dealerships in the Chicagoland area but back here at home if you don't give to them and you walk out, they just don't care. My local sales guy called while we were buying the car. I think he was disappointed as he had tried to say his car was so much better, but he also wanted $1200 more and no warranty. The process was fairly simple. My only minor complaint was the finance guy tried to push extended coverages on us very hard. I told him flat out this was a luxury purchase and I had a set a very strict budget and I told my husband no extras. He pushed it several times and it annoyed me. He said things like "how can you not see the value in this?" I said I see the value, I just don't want the spend the money upfront. I'm willing to take the risk. Maybe I will pay for it in the end and maybe I won't. But either way it is my choice. More
My wife and I went to Pugi Mazda looking for an inexpensive (2-3 thousand dollar) used car for out teenage son. Our salesman Larry, did not have a satisfactory car for us in that price range. He di inexpensive (2-3 thousand dollar) used car for out teenage son. Our salesman Larry, did not have a satisfactory car for us in that price range. He did however, offer an alternative idea. Seeing the car that we drove up in (an old Toyota with 160,000+ miles) he suggested "Why not spend a little more, get a better car for my wife, and give the old Toyota to our son?" Larry showed us a Mint Condition classic 1998 Bonneville with just 64,000 miles on it. During our test drive Larry noticed a slight hesitation in the acceleration. He asked the Serviceman Chuck to fix it - he did - and we bought it. My wife absolutely loves it! My son got her old car and that's better than what he was expecting to get. Win-Win! Great experience. I'll be back come time for a new CX-9! More
I purchased new Mazda recently. My sales representative was very nice, very respectful, very professional and did not push me into any deals. I had horrible car purchase experiences in the past, but this t was very nice, very respectful, very professional and did not push me into any deals. I had horrible car purchase experiences in the past, but this time it was very pleasant experience. I end up purchasing a new car and end up getting a better deal than I expected. Very much satisfied, for sure will consider them next time. More
First of all, ask for Brad Price. His level of customer service, friendliness and overall knowledge of the Mazda brand exceeds all expectations. I worked with Brad recently to buy my second Mazda and I cou service, friendliness and overall knowledge of the Mazda brand exceeds all expectations. I worked with Brad recently to buy my second Mazda and I could not be more satisfied with my 2012 Skyactive Mazda3, as well as with my experience working with the crew (from sales to the financing team to the service team). Even though I bought my RX8 from another dealer, I brought my car to Pugi for all services. They know what they are doing, are fair about prices, are generous with coupons to save on oil changes and the like, and always carry a smile and are happy to help anyone walking in the door. Please, if you are in the market for a car, consider Mazda...but more importantly, consider Pugi's excellent team and ask for Brad. You will not regret it! More

Sent me an email price with the destination charge ($770) included as a base price then showed me the internet price I could purchase it. The internet price did not have the destination charge which the bas included as a base price then showed me the internet price I could purchase it. The internet price did not have the destination charge which the base price did, with a disclamier in fine print that said the internet price did not include it. I found it very misleading. More
We stopped in on a Tuesday afternoon to take a look at a new Miata. We have never driven one or even really looked at one. When we asked for more info and a test drive we were told that because it was such new Miata. We have never driven one or even really looked at one. When we asked for more info and a test drive we were told that because it was such a rare car (1 of only 25,000!<sarcasm>) they couldn't let us drive it because they didn't want to put miles on it... unless we were going to buy it right then and there. Again we said that we didn't know because we had never even looked into this model before, all of a sudden a guy comes out and puts a sold sign on it?! wow that was great timing. They had zero interest in talking to us about this car... so we went to Continental Mazda. We were greeted with smiles and immediately given the chance to drive the same model Miata, as a loaner for the day! We fell in love with car and decided pretty quickly to purchase the vehicle. What a fun summer to come in our new Convertible Miata from Continental Mazda in Naperville..... NOT from Pugi. Too bad guys, it was an easy sale! Tsk Tsk! (but seeing the reviews on the service treatment as well, whew!) More
We had found the car we were interested in buying online and we called Pugi to come test drive the Mazda CX-9. We went in and we really like the car and were ready to buy. However, due to the service we rec and we called Pugi to come test drive the Mazda CX-9. We went in and we really like the car and were ready to buy. However, due to the service we received from Corey, we walked out of the dealer ship. Corey is a very rude and unexperienced sales person and I would recommend him or this dealer ship to anyone to Pugi Mazda. More
The guy in the service department was very disrespectful and rude. Even though I am only 17, I know when I am being disrespected and as a customer you should never be. I have taken my 2009 Mazda6 to the sh and rude. Even though I am only 17, I know when I am being disrespected and as a customer you should never be.
