Castle Kia was extremely helpful with my last purchase! I was able to get a great deal on a new Forte from Jerry Spainer and Alex Connolly. Even though I didn’t want to go into the dealership initially because I was worried from past experiences, Andrea pushed me to come in because she said the managers would give me a better deal in the store, she was so right and I am glad I did! Eva & Andrea did a fantastic job with the walkround video they sent over as well! I got a fantastic value on my trade, especially since I brought it in rather than sending over photos as Tyler, the internet sales manager suggested! Thank you Eva, Andrea, and everyone at Castle for a great experience! More

I went in for an oil change today. I asked if they honored competitors coupons and the service manager said not usually. So I asked if he would take this one and he then said they do not take competitors coupons and told me it would be an hour and a half wait. I asked if I could leave my info and come back in then. He said no. I asked if I could make an appointment. He said they do not take appointments for only oil changes. So why have an online appointment calender on their website? He looked bored and as far as Customer Service, I will take my money elsewhere and avoid this place in the future. More

They botched up every part of the purchasing process. 1. Initial contact - they spammed my phone on off-hours, and then couldn't answer my simple questions (e.g., what rates do you have) for over a w 1. I was then given to another sales specialist, who claimed the other person "is no longer with us" after my complaint. That person was still there 2. Reserving and scheduling appointments - I was told the car would be reserved. They immediately scheduled an appointment, but then said they couldn't reserve the car. They offered a convoluted process of visiting twice (before the purchase, and and during the sale). I'm not driving 4 hours total just to purchase a xxxx car. 3. Purchasing & home delivery - their website says I could purchase the car 100% online and get it home delivered. The sales specialist said it wouldn't be a problem. I felt they were unreliable, so I asked about the process. They call back about a certified check and signing papers in person... Why would I go through all that effort? Don't they have Docusign? I got fed up with them and said I would purchase it in person 4. Finalizing purchase and incorrect car description - After all the xx I went through, I decided just to go there myself. I had the money on hand and everything was supposed to be "set". Turns out the car description was incorrectly added. The excuse was that I should have looked at the window sticker... This was YOUR job. I had to walk away because of all this. I've purchased houses far less painful than this. More
My husband and I went to Castle Kia in McHenry Sat May 27th.because of a car they had advertised on their website. We called and was told vehicle was there. We made an appt for the next morning, saw the car and were ready to write a check , when the salesman excused himself and came back to tell us that his his manager told him that the price we saw on Castle's website and had printed with the car pic and stock number was actually going to be an additional 5 grand, due to the car shortage. We did not go there expecting to have to haggle a price, as we were prepared and ready to pay the price they advertised on their own website.. I asked our salesman)why advertise a price on the website that you know is incorrect, His response was (and I quote)"To get you in the door" I told him that was ridiculous and deceptive, and he agreed. Needless to say we left, and will never return to Castle dealership. Nowhere on their website did it state that this was a suggested price. It clearly stated Castle Kia's price.Very disappointing Kia. This experience has soured us on all Kia products. Simply stating our hard earned money will go to honest dealerships, that value their customers. More
I bought a car on January 28th 2023 from Castle Kia in McHenry IL. I live in Missouri so I did most of the paperwork & private financing before driving there to pick up my car. I left the dealership with the sale guy telling me that I DID NOT need the title app & the MSO. In Missouri and Illinois, both of those are required to register a car AND pay the sales tax. It is now May 2023... after several calls to the dealership, plus a few calls to the Missouri Dept of Revenue AND the Illinois Dept of Revenue, the dealership still has not provided me with what I need to register my car. Talk about the WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER!! Do not buy from Castle Kia!! So, in Missouri, I now have a $100 title penalty for failure to register in 30 days. I have to get a "new" odometer reading since the one they provided has expired. And yet still no response from them. Just a bunch of voicemails left and NO return calls. Since then, I have contacted Kia directly and they are very eager to speak with Castle Kia since this is poor behavior and bad reflection on their brand. The Illinois Dept of Revenue would like to talk to them to see why the sold a car without proper paperwork. And since we live in a different state, the car crossed state lines which means it is borderline FRAUD! That means the feds get involved. And yes I have contacted an attorney... So, I repeat, DO NOT BUY A CAR from Castle Kia - - save yourself the grief, unprofessionalism and shady dealings. They are some of the biggest crooks in the business. This review will be posted EVERY DAY on ever platform I can find, until the issue is resolved. And yes they will respond to this post, like ALL the others but NEVER solve anything for the customer.
