I have owned a Ford Explorer for many years. Last year was the first time I ordered my new 2023 Ford explorer. I want to thank Jake Woods for a job well done. He helped me get want I wanted on Last year was the first time I ordered my new 2023 Ford explorer. I want to thank Jake Woods for a job well done. He helped me get want I wanted on my SUV. Told me I could track my vehicle progress and Ford would let me know when it was shipped. They did all the way. When the SUV made it to Castle Ford, he made a point to show me how everything worked . Program my phone in for me. Told me if I had any questions down the road to give him a call and he would help me out. I did call him and he did help me with my problem. He has my five stars. Just came back from Florida and it was a great SUV. Road nice . They have come a long way up grading the Explorer. A lot of things I had to learn. Things I never had before. So thanks again Jake. I have been a customer with Ford since Hirsh Ford was the owner. I know Bill in Service. Great Guy too! Then there is Sharon we met when we got my husband New Truck in 2011. So I have some special people at Castle Ford. Keep up the good work. More

I ended up purchasing a “new” f150 with the some promotional rebates from ford credit. I found out a day or so later that one of the pieces of the promotion I used with ford credit was $500 in acces promotional rebates from ford credit. I found out a day or so later that one of the pieces of the promotion I used with ford credit was $500 in accessories. I was not specifically informed about this and when I asked about it a few days later with the intention of buying a bed cover after seeing an ad, I was told that because I did not include the accessories purchase in the initial deal the rebate for $500 may or may not go through. The interesting part of this is that the truck had a recall on it for which they did not have the parts for when I took it home. The dealer signed it out to me as a loaner until the part came in and instructed me to come back to have the part put in when they received it. This was incredibly inconvenient but something i was willing to deal with. A few days later I was called and informed the part was in and I could make an appointment for that day to have the work done. During this visit I purchased the bed cover. As of now, I haven’t been given a solid answer on whether or not I will get the rebate. When trying to purchase the bed cover, the parts department employee argued with me whether or not the promotion existed and claimed he couldn’t find any thing about it despite me showing him the ford ad which clearly stated “$500 in accessories cash”. I was there for 3 hours for them to install a wind shield wiper motor. This wouldn’t have been a big deal if I had any idea it would take that long and would have made arrangements for someone to pick me up or if I had been offered a courtesy vehicle for the inconvenience of my “new” truck needing a repair. Anyway, if the vehicle was technically a loaner for the time period between me taking it home and then bringing it back to put in the recall part and I purchased the cover the day they installed the part, It shouldn’t have been an issue to include that I purchased the cover with the truck. It has been over a week, I’ve asked about it a few times and like I said as of now I have no idea whether I will get the promotional $500. Another interesting part of my experience was that when test driving the vehicle I noticed that it had 3000 miles on it yet, it was being presented to me and sold to me as “new”. My concern was that the vehicle was already almost 10% of the miles into its warranty period so I asked if I could have an extension of the warranty or possibly some money taken off the purchase price for it. My sales person walked away when I asked this and immediately went to get someone else to talk to me. I was told “no, this vehicle has never been titled so it’s technically new”. However, when doing the paperwork with finance, the finance guy said he would be able to extend the bumper to bumper warranty from 36000 miles to, I believe, 45000 miles. I’m not 100% sure on that now because I don’t see it anywhere in my paperwork. Maybe I misunderstood. I’ve called and asked about my concerns and have been told. “I don’t know, you will have to talk to “so and so”. A short time later my sales person called me and ensured me that I wasn’t forgotten about and that they were looking into my concerns. Overall, my opinion is that this was an average car buying experience. While my sales person was absolutely friendly and not pushy, the dealership didn’t do me any favors on pricing, warranties, or help me to take full advantage of the promotion I used to purchase the vehicle. The only money that was discounted from the price on the truck was from ford credit’s promotional financing, I was not offered a courtesy vehicle while my “new” truck was in the shop. It wasn’t necessarily a bad experience but it also wasn’t a great one. Average or typical car buying experience pretty well sums up. More
Good service center, and nice people. I've owned a Ford or Lincoln for many years and even though I live closer to Art Hill Ford,I prefer dealing with Castle service center. I leased my 2021 Ford Bronco at Castle Ford brand new. Caliber was unable to fix it after determining it was too complicated and sent it to Castle Ford. Castle had it for at least two months while a new top was ordered and they figured out how to install it. The Bronco was then returned to Caliber Collision, where my friend picked it up for me as I was out of town on military orders. When I received the vehicle back, the clips on the passenger side of the top were broken, allowing a gap in the top (see pics attached). I called Caliber Collision who said they didn't notice it or inspect it when they picked it up from Castle and that I should take up the issue with Castle. I spoke with the service manager at Castle, who then stated they didn't notice the issue with the broken clips on the top and said should call Geico and take it up with them. Additionally , my Bronco was with Castle for well over two months and when I picked it up, it was in need of an oil change (service light was on) and also needed a recall. Castle Ford returned the vehicle to Caliber not only with a broken top (Ford knows about these issues and someone at the dealer or Caliber likely broke the top not knowing how to take it off properly) but also returned the vehicle in need of an oil change and a recall. This is absolutely unsatisfactory and I would not buy another vehicle at Castle Ford or repair my vehicle at Caliber Collision. Both parties passed the buck to each other and then Geico and left me with a Bronco with a broken top that I eventually took to another Ford Dealer who repaired the mess under warranty. STAY AWAY form Castle Ford and Caliber Collision, especially if you're a veteran as they do not respect their customers, their vehicles, or their quality of work. There was ZERO ownership of fault from either company. More
