I put off buying a new car for years knowing how painful the process can be. Through friends, it was suggested I work with Bill Ciszon at Castle Chevrolet McHenry as I have been looking at the new models an the process can be. Through friends, it was suggested I work with Bill Ciszon at Castle Chevrolet McHenry as I have been looking at the new models and knew what I wanted. All I can say it the whole process was painless. My old car had no bells and whistles so a new one would take a minute to learn all I can do. I no longer have to manually turn on my headlights! Yes, it’s a very excitable feature. Ha! I went in 1 day, test drove what I liked (Trailblazer) and Bill searched high and low for the trim style I liked above the rest, and once received helped walk me thru the new features, ways I can adjust, and even sat there with me thru the terrible onStar questioner. It was just funny because they said all the things he already did. Typically the most painful process is the finance portion so I’m going to add, it was fine. They already had my basic info the day I test drove because we knew I was going to get a car; it was just the when it would arrive. By the time I walked in the office they already ran the credit check and paperwork digitally prepared so they knew what they could offer me quickly. I knew what I needed, wanted, and what I didn’t. I simply stated what I didn’t need and there was absolutely no haggling. Sorry for the long review but I seriously put this off for years thinking I’d be in that office for years signing away my newborn baby. It was the total opposite. The day I bought the car, I MAYBE was there an hour; if that. Go check them out and talk to Bill Ciszon. Great guy hands down and will help you find what you’re looking for! More

Told salesman a couple time that I - Mary Anderson - wanted my name on the car and paperwork, then Russell's My car, I'm driving it, I would be writing the checks every month for it,. Simple. If I could give no stars that’s exactly what I would do. The level of unprofessionalism I have received from this establishment is atrocious. From the minute we walked in we should have walked out. The first car we looked at was dead but we understood lights can be left on.. once jumped the engine light wouldn’t go off.. when we told the salesman that we were uncomfortable purchasing a car with an engine light we were given so much kick back.. but we go to another car and take a guess.. ALSO DEAD. That should have been our time to go but my husband and I still purchased a brand new car from this dealership in.. back in May… when we attempted to make our first months payment we couldn’t and when we reached out to the loan company to try and pay they told us to wait because we don’t have a account just yet. Fast forward to end of July we find our castle never sent our paper work. So not only did our payment not get set up but WE WEREN'T EVEN OFFICIALLY APPROVED! We get that taken care of and move on to August the transmission of the brand new car fails.. I call castle to get in and was given the worst customer service… I was told that I needed to wait until Saturday and there are no loaners because loaners need to be scheduled out and they wouldn’t give me one.. mind you we are paying extra for the warranty we were told would cover any maintenance, loaners, etc… i asked to speak with a manger and have not been contacted. I will never do business with this place again and warn others before doing so. My car is being serviced at biggers in Elgin and we are being treated like proper paying customers. More
They got me right in for servicing. Staff was friendly and kept me informed throughout the process. Waiting room was comfortable. They sent me home with a newly washed car. This dealership did not honor their castle sale price and didn’t even show us the breakdown of the charge until we were in financial office which took 2 and a half hours to get in with. When I asked about the castle price I was told you would never get it for that. Why advertise a price and not honor it. The price they charged us was almost $4000 more than the original price. Yes I should have never signed but after sitting there so long waiting around we just wanted to get out of there. I voiced my concerns on the survey and they responded for me to call a manager which I did and no response. All I want is someone to show me the breakdown and explain the price. More
