WORST EXPERIENCE EVER BUYER BEWARE This was a bad experience with Tom Hackett and Dan Brasil. I test drove a Lincoln MKS Monday, October 23rd and returned Tuesday, October 24th. When I This was a bad experience with Tom Hackett and Dan Brasil. I test drove a Lincoln MKS Monday, October 23rd and returned Tuesday, October 24th. When I returned they started the buying process; when they found out I had my own financing they starting the GAMES! Tom Hackett stated the price wasn’t $16,477 anymore (as listed on the website) because they wouldn’t get rebates and incentives; so the price was $1,000 more. When I wouldn’t agree to price change Dan and Tom said the best they could do was $300 more. After that plan failed they gave me a bill of sell for $16,776. I told them the price is $16,477 Dan said there’s a $299 fee for etching. What is Etch fee? Dan and Tom said I had to pay for the car vin number being on the doors, hood, and trunk. I was confused because Castle is the only dealership that makes a customer pay for this service that I didn’t request. I asked Dan to show me the etching on the car doors and it was JUST a sticker. After the run around I took the suppose to be bill of sell (a print out with the backdown of the extra etching fee) to my bank which didn’t accept it because they needed the original bill of sell. Upon my return Dan said he would fix the bill of sell and remove the etching fee; after being gone for 10 minuets he returns and try to sell me a Lincoln MKZ. I told him i want the MKS then the bomb drop; Dan said the car was SOLD to her bosses family member and he didn’t know. I spent Monday testing a car, five hours in the dealership on Tuesday, working with Tom and Dan to be discriminated against because they don’t want to sell a car to me because I had my own financing ready. Buyer don’t SHOP HERE! I still have the BILL OF SELL. More
Great Dealership with a wonderful Salesman, Louis Mathews!!! I was long overdue for a new car. My recent car was 15 years old. I had been looking for a new car for the past year. Then, I happen to come across I was long overdue for a new car. My recent car was 15 years old. I had been looking for a new car for the past year. Then, I happen to come across the 2018 GMC Terrain. This car really piqued my interest, so I decided to check it out at my nearest dealership, Castle. Upon walking in Castle, I was greeted by Louis Mathews. Louis Mathews showed me the car and was very thorough in explaining all the ins and outs of the car. I left with a 100% chance that I would get this car. I came back about a week later to purchase the vehicle. I was very nervous and Louis made the transaction go very smoothly. I highly recommend Louis as your saleman!!! More
Outstanding Dealership I found a vehicle that I liked on line located at this dealership. I went to the dealership and talked to Lou Matthews. Before going on a test drive L I found a vehicle that I liked on line located at this dealership. I went to the dealership and talked to Lou Matthews. Before going on a test drive Lou and I agreed on a price. We went on a test drive, the car drove great and I bought it. So I left work at 9:30 am and was back in the office with my new car at 11:30 am! Being 60, I've bought my fair share of cars, and usually it is a 6 hour adventure and like pulling teeth. This was by far the most seamless and hassle free transaction I have ever experienced from a dealer. While I was finalizing the deal the porters moved everything from my trade in to the new car and washed it. All of this in 2 hours! There was no "hard sell" of additional services or warrantee, they explained what was offered, but absolutely no pressure to buy. Really a great experience. More

Rude sales team with communication skills. Living west of Rockford, IL puts me about 1 hr45 - 2 hrs away depending on traffic. A very close friend of mine asked me to stop and look at a jeep th Living west of Rockford, IL puts me about 1 hr45 - 2 hrs away depending on traffic. A very close friend of mine asked me to stop and look at a jeep that she was interested in on Friday September 15 as I was flying into Midway that morning and would be near there. I met with Louis C. Mathews and told him why I was there and wanted to look at a blue Jeep Wrangler for a friend and that if in fact I approved of the Jeep, we would return to buy it. Louis was helpful. We drove the Jeep. I checked it over very closely and pointed out 4 things that I was concerned with. 1 - a rear window seal, 2 - a passenger door seal, 3 - an LED headlight that was out and 4 - the lever on the passenger seat to allow rear seat access needed replaced. Lou made notes and brought out the Sales Manager (didn't get his name) to assess my requests. As the manager checked out each issue, he told me each would be taken care of and that the headlight and seat lever are safety concerns and HAD to be fixed. He took pics and even contacted service while I stood there. He assured me that it would all get taken care of and he stepped away. At this point, I needed to head towards home as I had been traveling all week and had spent over an hour there. I told Lou we couldn't make it back Saturday but I would let him know when we could after coordinating with my friend. At this point Lou asked me to hang out a minute to "Thank" the Sales Manager since it was "Only common courtesy". LOL YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING ME!!!! I advised Lou that it actually works both ways and that he should be thanking me as well. In the real business world, at a real dealership that focuses on customer satisfaction, that's how it works! Lou followed up Saturday with a courtesy call and then called again Monday. I asked if the Jeep was ready and he said "They are working on it now". I told him that my friend works until 5pm and that we would be there Tuesday around 7pm to close the deal. Lou mentioned that he was off on Tuesday. I told him that was the only day we can do it AND the Jeep was still not ready based on what Lou told me anyway. I even asked him if he would still get credit or commission for the sale and he said he would "get something". At that point I asked who I should ask for. Lou stated to "Ask for Cory Owens". "He can take care of you". So we make the 2 hr drive Tuesday evening and arrive at 6:50pm. We head inside and ask for Cory and ask to use the restroom. Upon our return to the showroom, we are informed that "The Jeep Wrangler was sold this afternoon". After directing some anger and choice words to the young man that informed me, I felt it best just to walk out rather than cause a scene to show my displeasure with the dealership. First off, I understand I had nothing down on it and understand selling it. That is not my issue. Someone should have called and advised me to not make the 4 hour round trip. I see on the website that Cory Owens is a manager. Did Lou not inform him that I was coming? Did Cory just not care? It was me after all that recommended the items be fixed and the reason it was in the service department. I had been in contact daily and yet no one knew of me? Needless to say I wasted a total of 5 hours of my life with this dealership and gave free advise on what should be repaired on a "certified" used car so that it could be sold and safe. I will never deal with this place again and will continue to share the story of my experience with anyone that will listen. Just an FYI, I am the National Sales Manager of a manufacturing company in Broadview, Il which happens to be right down the road from you! Thanks for wasting my time with your lack of communication.
