Our truck ran worse after they worked on it. Had the same codes after we got it back, still jerked when shifting and they kept it for almost a month to fix absolutely nothing. Told us multiple times the warranty covered everything and that all we owed was the deductible. Ended up charging us over $2000 the day we picked it up. The next day we got lucky and someone in GM’s billing dept called to let us know there was an error with the bill. The error was that they charged us $1800 more than they were supposed to. They credited us back. Holly repeatedly told me we would only owe the deductible, then the day we came in to get it she got rude and claimed she never said that and charged us the $1800 more than owed. I’m grateful billing caught her error or we would’ve had to pay out of pocket for them to mess our truck up worse than it was before they worked on it. A couple months later we had to bring it in again for the same codes, but this time it was also dumping diesel and coolant. Truck reeked of diesel fuel so bad it gave us a headache to drive it over a mile, went into limp mode so limped it to the nearest shop. It was a smaller shop and the mechanic there too a look and said there was so much wrong with it that it would be best to take it to GM since they have all the necessary tools. He advised us to trailer it, because driving it might ruin the engine. We trailered it over 100 miles to Casper GM only to have GM tell us they found nothing wrong and to come pick it up. No codes, no leaks (even though 5 of us plus a mechanic witnessed it dumping fluid on the ground). We called another shop in Casper and told them what was going on. They evidently have had a few customers come to them with the same issue with GM claiming they can’t find anything wrong with a blatantly leaking, busted truck. We picked up our truck and will hopefully have it fixed by next week. All GM did was wash the truck and cleared the codes. They didn’t even do that great of a job washing it, we can still clearly see where it’s been leaking. Be cautious of GM’s service Dept. We haven’t heard anything good about them from anyone we’ve talked to. The sales dept does a decent job, but after this experience I would never buy a used vehicles from them. Who knows what kind of junk passes the mechanics “inspections” and gets put on the lot to sell even though they barely run. More

Very disappointed with the outcome of a new car purchase. Have a check engine light on a brand new car that was purchased and this light came on at 650 miles and has consistantly been on since. The car now has 1800 miles and the service department seems to have no compassion and does not care that we spent over 30,000 dollars with this company. We will not be doing business here again. They cannot get it right and the longer the light stays on, the less function the car has. Many of the remote items such as remote start have been disabled due to this light. Very disappointing. we will be contacting GM and then go to a lemon law lawyer if needed. More

My 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD, while still covered by GM’s Factory Power Train Warranty, had two frayed injector wire connectors that were repaired/replaced by GM Authorized dealers using Genuine GM P by GM’s Factory Power Train Warranty, had two frayed injector wire connectors that were repaired/replaced by GM Authorized dealers using Genuine GM Parts (that come a one-year warranty). A couple months later I pulled into Casper Buick GMC Cadillac (“CASPER GMC”) and was told that 2 injectors had failed but they would be covered 100% by my warranty. Therefore, I approved the work. Later when I went to pick up my truck they told me it would not be covered by warranty and that I needed to personally pay them $2,231.04 or they would not give me my keys or release my truck to me. For two months since then, I’ve made repeated unsuccessful attempts to get a satisfactory resolution and have experienced: (i) repeated broken promises from Matt Harvey, of CASPER GMC and from and Jay from GM Customer Care (“GM”) to get back to me; (ii) CASPER GMC’s and GM’s willful disregard of the promises made to owners like me in GM’s Factory Power Train Warranty; (iii) CASPER GMC’s repeated and unwarranted refusal to file my warranty claim with GM, despite the fact that my truck is still under GM Factory Warranty for both the injectors (GM Factory Power Train Warranty), and the connector wires (GM Genuine Parts Warranty); and (iv) I was told by Jay at GM Customer Care that if I sought guidance from my attorney, even if such guidance did not include my filing suit, he would no longer be able to speak with me about this issue. (v) I was told by Casper GMC to contact GM Customer Care and was told by GM Customer Care to contact Casper GMC. Casper GMC and GM Customer Care do a good job of watching each other’s back but totally ignore the backs of customers like me. If this sounds like fun to you, please go straight to Casper GMC and buy a truck. Yuk! More
