Surprisingly humble dealers I have previously checked out other subaru dealers in the area and they are exactly how I expected a car dealership to be. I knew exactly what I wanted before I even walked in to the dealer and I know exactly the price range I should pay for the car that I am seeking. In this negotiation progress I am constantly being uncomfortably pushed for other cars, other editions or adding needless options even when I told them dealer exactly what I wanted from the get-go. I understand that it is his job to sell but there is a line between selling a product and being pushy. I decided to try at another Subaru dealer a lot further away from where I live. I met Clayton, a dealer at Casey Subaru. Told him what I wanted for the price and he said ok. That was it. There was no trying to persuade me in getting more options or another version of the model that included a gps for $700 more. It was simple, and it was nice. I couldn't ask for anything more. He was nice, polite, considerate and knew his merchandise. When we were quietly waiting for paperwork he made nice small talk. My ideal experience, and that is how it should be. More
