Thrilled with my new Subaru I was torn between the Ford Explorer and the Subaru Forester. Headroom/legroom and gas mileage were two of my main considerations. And price, of cours I was torn between the Ford Explorer and the Subaru Forester. Headroom/legroom and gas mileage were two of my main considerations. And price, of course. Subaru was fine with my decision to check out both vehicles. (They probably knew I would be back.) The Forester had more headroom and legroom than the Explorer even though it was a smaller SUV model, and for the same reason the Forester easily beat the Explorer price. For the final tip of the scales, the Forester gets double the gas mileage of the Explorer. Felix made sure I was satisfied with the final deal and Tish has been super in the service department. I love the Subaru with all of the safety features and the smooth, comfortable ride. Thanks, Casey! More
Excellent Professional Experience I just drove home in a 2018 Outback from Casey Subaru. From initial ordering through delivery, it was an excellent experience. While my impression is that you couldn’t go wrong with any of the friendly employees there, I found it particularly pleasant to deal with their salesman Clayton Moats. From agreeing on cost, through delivery, he made the entire experience a pleasure. Clayton’s a real gentleman, knows his stuff, and knows how to treat a customer. He even came to my home in Williamsburg to drive me to Casey on the day of delivery. The whole delivery process took a while, but that was mostly because Clayton gave me such a thorough briefing on all the bells and whistles on the new Outback (there are many). Overall enjoyable experience. More

Poor experience, buyer beware! My wife drives a VW and one day the check engine light came on so we parked it and called this dealer. They recommended we bring it in for diagnosis. The problem is that we are over an hour away from any dealer and Casey is the closest one. We made an appointment and sent the car by tow truck to them. Trying to communicate is a real issue as one cannot simply call the assigned service specialist. Finally we got through and got astounding news and a ridiculous quote. My wife came home from work crying. I looked at the quote and immediately scheduled a tow to pick up the car, paying out of pocket for it to be taken to Richmond as I was furious. Even with the added cost, the repair bill from Browns was less than half of what Casey quoted...I certainly would never return to Casey for anything as I believe they are not on the up and up. I also believe they have found they can take advantage of women and do. To add insult to injury, they called my wife after all of this to reconfirm the original appointment? They already had the car! A sample of their internal communication and that applies to customer communication as well. Protect yourself, go elsewhere. More
