I had a 2 pm appointment with Aziah Robinson for an inspection. I was not impressed with the interaction as there really was none. I was in the waiting area and I got a text or email letting me know my inspection. I was not impressed with the interaction as there really was none. I went to Ms. Robinson’s location and she handed me the paperwork (I have been dealing with Casey’s service department since 2014 and this is the first time I was not impressed with the service staff. It seems like all or most of the staff are young. Ms Robinson was too busy socializing with others that she did not have time to deal with me. I am very unhappy with the service department. Someone needs to check them out anonymously. I am very unhappy with the whole situation. More
It truly grieves me to leave this review but I would be remiss if I did not say anything concerning this situation. First and Foremost, the sales department is the absolute best. I have purchased three vehicles from Casey and an additional vehicle for my sister. Travis Battles and Gerald are an outstanding team on the sales side but this review is about the service side. On or around April 7, 2021, I dropped off my beautiful 2019 Chevy Express Conversion Van at Casey Chevrolet to get a few things repaired on it. Initially, Casey Offered me this Suburban as a loaner vehicle. This vehicle was just beat up. The eventually switched me out to a newer loaner but to be even offered such a vehicle with so many issues after spending over $200k at this dealership is ridiculous. Back to the van, Because it's a conversion Van, I figured it would take some additional time to get repair. Once a week, I would call to check on things and I would not get an immediate response. After two weeks, I got an update that they were waiting for the conversion company to either approve the repair or send someone out to repair the van. On 30 April 2021, I was in the Newport News Area so I happened to stop by the dealership to check on my van. I drive to the back of the service department and my van is covered with an 1/8 of an inch of pollen due to no one touching my van. I drive around to the front and talk to a different advisor than the one I was assigned and was briefed: "I'm sorry but no work was done to your van at all". Of course, I was beyond pissed. My van sat there for over 21 days and nothing was done to it. So I called Explorer, the conversion company that converted the van to ask about an authorization. The service advisor told me, "No one but you has called about your van or any repairs." So it appears that nothing was done to my van, yet it had an additional 200+ miles on my van. Though I have purchased many vehicles from Casey, I just can't believe the horrible things that took place with my van while it was in your care. #lossofconfidence #lossoftrust #insulted #unsatisfactory More

I was told it’d be quick if I made an appointment first thing in the morning, so I did and was assured it’d be “1 and a half hours tops” so I waited in the waiting room. 4 hours of waiting with no updates later, it was “done” however they couldn’t provide any alignment specs due to “system issues”. I was told “major adjustments were done to get it in spec” and was promised (by my rep, Jeff) that the alignment specs would be emailed to me later that day. I received nothing that day or the next. I called in and left messages and was blown off repeatedly. It took contacting the BBB to hear back from someone WEEKS later. They offered to redo the alignment free of charge since they couldn’t provide info from the previous one (was it ever even done?). I accepted and made an appointment with the service manager for a 9am drop off on 8 April. I had the car there at 845am and was told that they’d be starting right away. I get a ride into work and continue my day. At 3:06pm I get a call saying my car was done. Over 6 hours later from when I dropped it off. When I get there, they say it was done “for awhile now. Hours ago”. I’m annoyed, but they have my printout and said it’s good so I leave. As soon as I turn on the main road I can see that my car is pulling to the right. You’d have to be vision impaired to not notice. The corvette logo on my steering wheel is clearly tilted when driving straight. I turn around and go straight back to talk to my rep (Jeff, who was the one who kept blowing me off after promising my specs last time) and get told that they can get me in the following Wednesday to do it again. It’s currently Thursday. Ridiculous. I ask for the service manager (Walker Ellwanger). He listens and states “I don’t know what to tell you but if you can bring it back in we can make a ‘quick adjustment’ and get it right”. I asked if they took it on a test ride after, and he said the tech did but maybe missed it being off. HOW? It was the sole purpose of the test drive after the alignment. We’re standing in the service desk area discussing a solution, and Walker asks what I want at that point. I ask to speak to the General Manager because there’s clearly a disconnect and I just want the job I paid for to be done right. Mr Walker Ellwanger literally just points in a General direction and says “he should be over there” and stares at me. WOW. Top notch customer service. I ask if he can maybe bring me to him so I don’t have to walk up to each staff member asking who/where the GM is, and he looks at me like I’m crazy and says “sure come on”. The GM wasn’t in of course, and I’m told to contact the main line tomorrow morning to get ahold of him if I insist on speaking to him. They wouldn’t give his direct contact information. Back to back horrible experiences with this dealership. More

Went in at 11:30 appointment for oil / filter change and a tire rotation. Was promptly and courteously greeted. Left the vehicle and went out for lunch. Received a text message shortly later saying the serv a tire rotation. Was promptly and courteously greeted. Left the vehicle and went out for lunch. Received a text message shortly later saying the service was complete, the vehicle was ready and showing the very reasonable cost. Upon return from lunch the Advisor again was prompt and courteous in explaining the invoice, receiving my payment and wishing me a good day at my departure. More

I am writing this review as an update to my glowing review I gave 10 months ago. I gave them 5 stars now they get 1star! First I take my 2019 vehicle in to get the AC serviced and was told it had too much freon in it (what???🤦🏾♀️) mind you no one has touched my car for any service because its BRAND NEW!!! I picked up my car I should have checked it before I left the lot, but it was cool outside. When I did turn it on I realized it still was not fixed so I returned it and they had it for over a week. I went to go pick up car and it was still not fixed. I left it there until they fixed it. When my car was ready instead of calling my cell they called my old office number where I no longer work and my voicemail said such. I then go pick up my car and the AC is good, but now I have a check engine light on (🤬😡🤬🤦🏾♀️) Something was broken while fixing the AC, so now I have to leave my car there yet again to get fixed. By this time I am heated. Well I finally got my car back, AC cold, and no engine light on. Next thing that has me so miffed with Casey is the fact I cancelled my warranties and was told I would have a refund check in 10 business days. That was June 22nd. Today is July 30thand I've seen NOTHING!!!!!!! I keep getting the run around! We have emailed and the response is slow. We have called and the response is slow. When you do talk to someone they sound sincere but their actions speak another language! I AM SO FED UP WITH THIS DEALERSHIP!!! All that I am asking for is to be treated like a paying customer, have the money returned to me for the warranties I cancelled within the next 10 days. More

Although we had heard several people say not to use them, we had already bought our car from them and continued using their service. Whenever I heard something negative, I defended Casey. We received good service and the White Team representative (Rich) took very good care of us. However, as of today, I will never return to any Casey dealership. Rich has left the dealership and we were placed on a different team. They gave us a quote that was $700 under the actual bill. The manager and the new team representative showed no compassion concerning the extra cost. They did not understand that I would not have had the work done if I knew that it would cost almost $2,000. They just wanted to argue with me. The manager immediately defended his team representative, in a demeaning manner. I am giving one star only because when another team member saw how upset I was, he was very helpful in helping me get my car and leave as fast as possible....never to return to a Casey Dealership. I have never posted a review before but I felt that I needed to make an exception, in this case. I hope this will help others. More
