When using a comparison search between models, Casco Bay Ford had hands down the best start price. I was really specific in what kind of car I wanted: age, miles, price, color, features etc.. This is my first time dealing with Casco Bay and I have NEVER had such a GREAT experience buying a car. I bought a 2012 Kia Forte, love~love~ love it. My relaxed sales guy Ben was really fun to work with. My experience was, it is worth the trip and it is worth checking this team out. I even lucked out and got live music playing from an awesome singer/guitarist in the lobby. It was quick and no hassles, didn't blow the whole day waiting. Little things like, filling up the gas tank after purchase, and having a first oil change on them, all counts.THANK you guys. More

Nate arranged for me to take this car for an extended test on short notice and he was more than responsive to my questions and concerns. Given my schedule, I would not have been able to pursue this sale if not for his flexibility. He represented this dealership with professionalism, flexibility and good humor. Without his responsiveness, I would not have made an offer. The sales transaction was respectful and straightforward. It was a fair deal. I hadn't intended to pursue financing with a dealership,as I receive competetive rates with my Credit Union, but I was able to finance this car with a rate well below what I was quoted from my CU. The business manager was skilled and to the point; and I left confident that all details were covered. My experience at Casco Bay Ford was noteworthy. I received the combination of superior service and competence that leaves an impression. It is good to know that a Maine owned business, that serves local consumers, continues to set the standard for larger competitors. I am enjoying my new vehicle, and I enjoy it more knowing that the sale was transacted in such an above board, respectful manner. I highly recommend Nate and his team. I bought a car from Casco Bay Ford yesterday from a sales professional named, Ben Seefeldt. What a GREAT customer based dealership. I live over 2 hours away, and like everyone, life is extremely busy. They o professional named, Ben Seefeldt. What a GREAT customer based dealership. I live over 2 hours away, and like everyone, life is extremely busy. They offered to drive the car to me, and leave it so that I may have the opportunity to test drive it. We drove to the dealership early in the morning to either make a deal, or return the car. I was presently surprised by how fast they and caring they are. I flew in and out of there like a hurricane. My husband and I had to go to work in the afternoon and brought our 3 young children, 2 of them got sick on the long drive down. Needless, to say we were in a hurry. Ben, was to the point, fast and did everything he could to make sure we were satisfied. He made sure that I had everything that I needed to insure that my children were comfortable. After, we settled on a price (one that is VERY reasonable) and was finishing paperwork, they cleaned the car again, and filled it up with gas. This place was defiantly worth driving over 2 hours. :) HIGHLY Recommended!!!! More
What can I say? I have wanted to buy a new car for several months. It just seemed like no one wanted my business. I had been to Rowe, Yankee, Prime, Berlin City, Bill Dodge & Quirk. Let's just say I several months. It just seemed like no one wanted my business. I had been to Rowe, Yankee, Prime, Berlin City, Bill Dodge & Quirk. Let's just say I was less than impressed by the sales staff at these dealerships. I mean seriously. It just felt like they were trying to sell me cars that I didn't want to buy. I was confused. I didn't get it. Why are these people working so hard to sell me something I don't want to buy. I felt like no one was actually listening to me. They weren't taking the time to know me or to understand my needs. It was just a quick...... "oh, you like that 1". They get keys, slap a plate on the car and off I go. I felt so uncomfortable. I had no idea what any of the buttons in these cars did. Get back from the test drive & " I'll make you a deal". REALLY! Disgusted by how I was treated I gave up. Of course when I say that I mean.... My car gave up. Gave up on me. Broken down on the side of the road. This is what I was trying to avoid. This is why I went to all of those dealerships. This is why I wanted to buy a new car........ AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!! Here we go again. Casco Bay Ford. Let's see how far I get with these guys. I arrive. Less than thrilled. OK, that's an understatement. By this time I'm sure I had a chip on my shoulder given my past experiences. I was greeted by Nick Orlando.------- "hmmmmm" What's up? This guy looks happy to see me. Alright, I'll bight. Nick walked me around the lot. I instantly felt comfortable. He was actually asking me questions. Questions like what was I planning on using this car for? What features are important to me? "I was shocked. Not only was he trying to figure out what was important to me. It was obvious that he cared. He was laughing and joking with me. It was like we were hanging out. I felt so comfortable. WOW! what's this? Now as I said previously I had been to many dealerships. In fact I was looking at the same car at all of these dealerships. The Ford Focus. I love the look. I told Nick this. He said "I understand that you have test driven the Focus at other dealerships Jen, however I'm going to treat you like this is the 1st Focus you've ever seen." He then went over the whole car with me. I was shocked. It has a cap-less gas system. It has 911 assist. It has Sync for my cell phone. I mean come on. I've driven 6 other Focus' at 6 other dealerships and I'm just finding this stuff out now. Nick put a plate on the car. Oh wait that's different. He's taking the time to adjust my seat. He's showing me how to adjust the mirrors and steering wheel. He's getting my car seats out of my rental car and putting them in the Focus. Is this really happening. Oh..... yes it is happening. My daughters snack spilled all over the back seat. She was mortified. Nick just laughed and told her that he did the same thing that morning. I can't begin to tell you how relieved I was. Here's a guy who cares. In case your wondering.... The over the top service did not reflect in the price. Quite frankly I would have paid more to not have to go back to any of the above mentioned dealerships. Fortunately I didn't have to when I told Nick that his price was slightly higher than what I was previously quoted he smiled and said " Jen, Great news we have a 110% best price guarantee. I'll give you 110% of the difference from the lowest price you got on your new Focus." Is this really happening. Quality Service & Best Price. Let's just say my daughter and I look good in our new Ford Focus. Thank you so much Nick- More

This was my first car buying experience. Ethan made it easy and got me into a better car than I expected for the same price as used vehicles I was offered at other dealerships. What I liked about dealing with Casco Bay Ford was it is a local, small business in my neighborhood. I received the personal touch from Ethan Duval. I bought a truck from this dealership. I paid $21,000 for it and they refused to put a decent set of tires on it. I liked the truck and the price was within the usual limits and I did not have time to keep it and they refused to put a decent set of tires on it. I liked the truck and the price was within the usual limits and I did not have time to keep looking for a vehicle so I bought it. Two months later I have to put tires on the truck costing me $600. I like the truck but when my mechanic looked it over he told me I may have a slight leak in my transmission. I brought it back and the talked to me like I was an idiot. I will never do business with this dealership again and I strongly urge anyone else that is considering purchasing a new or used car in the future to look at other dealerships in the area. Dealing with Nate and the rest of the Casco Bay team has been the most pleasant buying experience I've had. My wife and I were looking for a 2013 Ford Escape SEL in gray. Zero pressure. Nate asked what o been the most pleasant buying experience I've had. My wife and I were looking for a 2013 Ford Escape SEL in gray. Zero pressure. Nate asked what our needs were and worked hard to find the exact vehicle that we wanted and get it from another dealer. While that should be the norm, Nate went one step further and delivered the car to our home, showed us the features and had us sign the papers in the comfort of our home. All of this happened after 8pm on a Wednesday night. You get the sense Nate is one of the few sales guys who truly cares about his customers and goes the extra mile to ensure complete satisfaction. If you are in the market for a Ford and don't want the run-around, bait 'n switch and high pressure environment, there's only one place I'll be going from now on. Nate Conners at Casco Bay Ford.
