Mr. Reyes - first, let us apologize again for the mistake we made in your trade-in appraisal. While we do serve a lot of people with a high degree of quality, as you can see with our rating, sometimes mistakes are made. We understand your frustration with the process you encountered and why you have reviewed us with such a low score. We hope that we can change your mind about your review. However, we do feel the need to clarify the events so that people reading your review will have some context, as buying a car is such a large decision and should not be made lightly. Mr. Reyes drove from El Paso to look at our inventory. He stated that our prices were much lower and wanted to see how we could help him. After he chose a car and we reviewed his trade-in, and after much discussion, we came to an agreement. Before any contracts were signed, we found that we made a mistake on his trade value estimate. We had given him an estimate based on the wrong model vehicle. Once we used the correct information, we knew there was no possibility of giving him the same offer for his trade-in. We immediately informed Mr. Reyes and he declined the new offer. This mistake was entirely ours; however, we feel that our personnel and management maintained the high level of politeness and customer service that we expect them to treat all our customers with. It is important to note here as well that Mr. Reyes situations was handled by long time manager Pat Sullivan, not Bruce Weinrich as mentioned in his feedback. We understand that Mr. Reyes was frustrated by this process and we regret his experience. We are reviewing our process to prevent this from happening again but we also want everyone to know that when we make a mistake, we will admit it, and try to find options to ensure you get the best deal for your new vehicle.
