I am really disappointed and lost my trust with the shop. I just had my Rav in on 8/17 for maintenance work and when we picked it up I asked about some repairs needed on my sun roof. I asked how much it would cost and I was told “it won’t cost you more then $60”. We asked them to order the part and set up a date to have it installed on 9/2. Also, when I picked up my Rav everything on my inspection sheet was marked as good. On 9/2 when they had my car back in for the sunroof I got a call that my filters needed changed (keep in mind 14 days earlier they good). My husband said no and we only want the sunroof fixed. Then about 20 minutes later we get another call and was told my battery is absolutely dead but we can change that out for $129. I wasn’t having any issues with my battery, it was supposedly just tested on 8/17 and marked good also! Now they are telling me it’s dead and needs replaced?! I honestly asked if they had the right car or if they had me mixed up with someone else! My husband said to leave it alone and we would look at it when we picked it up. So then I get a text saying my car was ready to pick up and my total was $250!!! I called and talked to the lady in the service department and asked again is this for the Rav 4 because Jeff told me it was only $60 for the repair. She said I don’t know what kinda deal you had with Jeff but he is no longer here. She said the best she could do to help was to get it down to $112. We go in to pick it up a few days later and Jeff was back! So we go in with our salesman Scott and talk to Jeff. He said he didn’t know where I got the $250 from but the total is only $112. I have the text with the total amount due, why would I lie about that?! Then he said yes I told you $60 and that’s what the cost of the labor. That doesn’t make any sense either because Brittany had already discounted it! I’m still upset because you can’t tell me when someone asks for an estimate you only quote labor cost and not the parts! I’m not an idiot and don’t appreciate being treated like one. We just spent $500 on my husbands truck and $140 on my maintenance so we needed to know the FULL cost of this repair for budget purposes. Oh, and my car battery is also absolutely fine! We took it to two different shops to be checked out and it does not need replaced. We will not recommend your shop anymore. More

I brought the car in early for the service as I had an unexpected problem. With a vacation starting the next day - I did not need the car - Carver had an extra week to address both the service and the pro unexpected problem. With a vacation starting the next day - I did not need the car - Carver had an extra week to address both the service and the problem. We exchanged e-mails and quotes and I picked the car up after my vacation. Not straight forward but they were able to cope. Thank you. More
