I found this car through a Carfax search after looking at local dealerships and private sellers for a few weeks. I live 2.5 hrs away but with Jon Paul “J.P” as our salesperson coupled with the deal I receive local dealerships and private sellers for a few weeks. Toyota of Carson City even offered delivery of the vehicle, and a way to complete the paperwork via mail as an alternative. From beginning to end, the process was seamless. Jeff, the financial manager was very thorough with no gimmicks when it came to the paperwork, and discussed our options without pressure. Working with Jon was great. He’s a very kind, genuine and honest person who looks out for your well-being. He took the time to answer all my questions over the phone and sent me an invoice of the price so that there’d be no surprises the day of. He also was kind and answered my questions on Sunday when he was off of work. I highly recommend working with Jon at Toyota of Carson City. You’ll have a wonderful experience!! More

I took my vehicle in for service and was left wandering around on the lot in a wind storm. I was told my vehicle was done but the person at the counter didn’t have the keys. I walked the lot for 10 minutes only to find the vehicle still inside being worked on. When I did get the to the vehicle I found oil on the front of the vehicle and the inside handle of the drivers door was filthy. I didn’t enjoy my visit all that much. Doug H. More
Terrible buying experience- we were mislead about several key features of the 2021 Tacoma we bought. The sales person misled us about the tow capacity and the remote start feature. Turns out the tow capacity is significantly lower than we were sold on, and there is NO remote start feature. We found about this literally after we signed the final paperwork. And the financing terms were way higher than the agent sold us on. We had to fight for that, and thankfully Toby made THAT part right. We contacted the dealer several times to get the remote start issue resolved, got shuffled around to multiple sales managers, eventually to Chris Houston. He said he'd look into things, get right back to me. After a few days of no reply, I contacted him, to be told there is nothing they can do. Moreover, Chris insisted we knew about all the features/limitations of the truck before we signed the paperwork, which is not true, and verifiable since the finance manager's (Toby) office where we signed the paperwork is video recorded. We feel like we SHOULD have video recorded every step of the entire transaction. It was mind-blowing. Unfortunately, our next step is contacting toyota corporate and the BBB. Buyer BEWARE at this dealership!! More
In response to a recall notice from Toyota, I made an appointment to have my wife's leased Toyota serviced. I had bought from Carson City Toyota previously. We were greeted and we answered a few questions as to what we were looking for. He offered to show us a few cars.
