Normally my wait on routine service is an hour at the most. Today I waited almost 4 hours for an oil change. The dealership is short on service staff, so I can’t give them a FAIR rating right now as busi most. Today I waited almost 4 hours for an oil change. I wish I could give a split review. One for sales, one for the service department. Sales deserves a 5 out of 5. Sabdi was amazing and I would highly recommend her if you’re still going to purchase a car t for the service department. Sales deserves a 5 out of 5. Sabdi was amazing and I would highly recommend her if you’re still going to purchase a car there after reading this. Sabdi was very prompt to handle any of my questions, concerns, and work around my hectic schedule. However.. ***BEWARE*** The service department is a disaster and is why I give my review one star. For the 15 fleet cars I need to purchase for my business I will pay a little extra and take my future business back to Reno Toyota. My experience with the service department will end up being a complete waste of my time for what will end up being two days to do a simple install. Thanks to the poor management, communication, and efficiency of their service department I will not return or recommend Carson City Toyota. Make sure you’re aware that your purchase of plastic parts that are not specific to your individual vehicle are non-refundable, even when they have not installed them, haven’t gotten them installed in a timely manner, or if they have to reschedule you to another day for the install. Also, be aware that appointments and appointment times are not actually appointments and are irrelevant. They are just rough dates your work may or may not be completed. I wanted to give them the excuse often the current labor shortage, but the fact that there was zero communication throughout the five hours my car was being serviced I will assume that the labor shortage simply exposed the inefficiency of the service department. Lastly, make sure you aren’t waiting for them to contact you about if you’re service is complete. If it goes past the estimated completion time, go find them or call them. They will not try to reach you. More

I’ve purchased many new vehicles. In that experience however, I’ve never had to pay for registration on my own when I specifically asked for an out-the-door price. To my surprise today in trying to reg however, I’ve never had to pay for registration on my own when I specifically asked for an out-the-door price. To my surprise today in trying to register my new vehicle through the Nevada DMV, I was surprised with a $900 dollar charge, which is the yearly registration fee for my new vehicle. When I was negotiating for this vehicle, no one informed me that I would have to pay for the registration separately, from the salesman Larry to the finance guy Mike, no one mentioned about this other fee. More surprisingly however, today I went and spoke to the finance guy Mike who couldn’t help me. I then spoke to the manager whose attitude was “too bad, so sad”. I wanted to buy locally and will continue to do so. However, this is the last time I will buy a Toyota. I should have listened to my wife and purchased a Ford. More
