I then received my car which was fine for about two weeks and then i had more problems with it my ac was making weird noise my gear shifter was going out i was hearing sounds coming from the back end of my car. I then brought it back to get serviced and they seemed to no be able to fix my car and told me there was no sounds coming from my car. I had my car for two days after they had it for two weeks and the noise came back but they couldn't seem to hear it when having it for two weeks. Since then my car has been giving me problems my camera sensor go off like crazy i will be driving in motion and it will beep at me as if i was very close to another car but there wasn't anyone near me. Also my gear shifter is still messing up i couldn't even drive the other day because my car wouldn't go back into drive after i had reversed from a parking spot and was stuck in the middle of a parking lot trying to not get rear ended by another car. I had to sit there for 5 minutes with my car off before it would let me change gears. More

Super customer service, easy to work with when some things like who pays were not clear. Just a bit slow in accomplishing repairs but they make it up to you. things like who pays were not clear. Just a bit slow in accomplishing repairs but they make it up to you. More

They proved me wrong and went way above my expectations to made it the easiest transaction I've ever done. Super nice folks with a genuine interest in ensuring customer happiness. We weren't pressured at all, were offered options to make it work for us, and we left there in shock at how good of an experience it was. More
I recently bought a lovely 2022 Palisade. I told the salesman that my primary purpose for the car was to tow my little travel trailer and was assured this SUV was well capable. I bought th I told the salesman that my primary purpose for the car was to tow my little travel trailer and was assured this SUV was well capable. I bought this car with tow package and every upgrade possible to make it the perfect tow vehicle. I had the Hyundai service department install the tow hitch and told them I needed a 7-point electrical connector and even showed them a picture of the trailer connector. They returned it with a 4-point connector on it and told me this is the "modern" connector used. This is false! It does not supply power and wiring for trailer brakes and brake controller. After several more visits they admitted my car does not have proper wiring for a 7-pin connector. There are aftermarket parts that would make the trailer braking system work but if installed and anything goes wrong with the car electronics the warranty would be void. Without a brake controller it is unsafe and illegal to tow this trailer. SO THE CAR I BOUGHT WITH THE EXPRESS PURPOSE OF TOWING MY LITTLE TRAILER IS USELESS FOR THIS TASK. I have spoken multiple times with the sales manager and service manager. I have called the US Hyundai office and other dealerships. They all act as if this is the first time they have heard of this problem. This car cannot be fixed to support a brake controller without voiding the warranty. I discovered on line that this has been a problem since this car was introduced in 2018, yet they continue to advertise it as able tow 5,000 pounds. It is illegal in most states to tow a 1500 lb trailer without brakes. How can this not be false advertising? The sales manager finally said he would take the car back and refund my money, but when I actually brought the car back he offered me trade-in value or to take it back as a used car, offering me $6000 less than I paid. I feel it is only fair to return the full price of the car (including the cost of the tow hitch installation) since it was sold to me with the false guarantee that it is capable of being a safe tow vehicle. I need the full amount to replace this car with one that can actually tow my trailer. More

After ascertaining a reasonable ballpark value for my car from Kelley Blue Book Instant Cash Offer I took it in, half expecting the dealer to badmouth the car and tell me how little it was worth. I was not d from Kelley Blue Book Instant Cash Offer I took it in, half expecting the dealer to badmouth the car and tell me how little it was worth. I was not disappointed. I understood that the KBB value was an estimate based on the information I gave, which of course included the mileage, and a real time inspection. However, since I was scrupulously honest with my description I didn't expect their offer to be adjusted downward by one third. The reason, drummed into my head over and over, was the mileage. It was over 100K and therefore would no doubt be sent to auction but of course, that would be after they invested hundreds of dollars in it by putting on hub caps (which they knew were missing before they ever saw the car) and that it had 109K on the odometer. I foolishly agreed to their low offer, just to get it over with. Then the waiting began. I was told when I made the appointment that it would take 30 minutes, give or take. I had to ask a friend to drive 15 miles to pick me up and take me home afterwards. She, unfortunately, had an emergency and wouldn't be able to wait around while these clowns screwed around. I explained to them that it was just taking too long and I was no longer interested in doing business. The rudeness and disrespect was something I've never experienced from any car dealership in all my life. The "salesperson" kept beating to death the excuse that the mileage was why they wouldn't offer me the FIXED offer KBB applied to my car after their appraisal This offer was good for 7 days and there were no surprises because I was very honest and upfront to begin with. They just kept harping on the mileage. Then someone, I think it was a manager, told me it would be at least 25 more minutes because "someone was ahead" of me. Since I'd already been cooling my heels for well over an hour I just wanted out. They had removed my license plates anticipating the sale and when I asked the "salesperson" to put them back on he didn't do it; just left them sitting on his desk and walked away to another room. I finally walked to the door and when I asked this "sales manager" person if someone was going to put my plates on for me, he looked at me and said "Well, I'm not going to do it.", turned his back and went out the door. The original sales guy ended up doing it. If you look up in the dictionary under "Used Car Salesmen" you'd see a picture of these men and their dealership. I felt like everything negative I had ever heard about car salesmen was within the borders of my experience there. Disrespect, dishonesty, rudeness are just the beginning of the list describing Carson City Hyundai. Stay away! There are other dealers. Kelley Blue Book and their program is going to hear from me, too, though they make it clear what to expect from the experience, and it sure wasn't what I went through. I'd be curious to know how they would have treated their own mothers or grandmothers under the circumstances. I know this: their mothers would hang their heads in shame thinking they raised such boors. More
