You should NEVER do any service whatsoever, up to and including washing a customer's car... WITHOUT asking first. More
Overall Disappointing I was very disappointed with the trade in value the dealer gave for a return customer, and disappointed with the price of the new car and the new car I was very disappointed with the trade in value the dealer gave for a return customer, and disappointed with the price of the new car and the new car had several defects where parts had to be ordered. The dealer did provide a loaner and service has been good to work with, but VW of North America is terrible to work with. I had to fight VWNA to get an emission device fixed when the previous car had very few miles and was just out of warranty, and the new car arrived with several defects. German quality is only percieved, it is disappointing. This may well be our last VW. And to top it off, the finance office made mistakes , causing us to have to return to re sign all the sales documents. More

PRICING IS NOT COMPETITIVE These folks refused to compete with the other local dealers. Their price was just too high. They were argumentative and rude. They delivered one price, and thereafter refused to negotiate. When I told them that I would review them "less than favorably" on line, the sales manager "Ernesto", didn't like that. He actually called me and attempted to verbally assault me on the phone. Crazy right? He accused me of "slander" (using the word incorrectly) before I had written any review at all. I would stay away from these folks. Do your homework before you go to any dealership. Know the available pricing ahead of time. More
Quick Purchase As most people are these days, I am a busy mom with a full time job. No time to sit at a car dealership and haggle over pricing. I had made my last payment on my lease car so I contacted David Brown (who I have purchased many cars from) and told him I was ready to turn my lease car in and purchase a new one. No lease. He knew my budget and immediately began texting me cars for me to review. I picked out the one I wanted and he turned me over to Venus who went through the details with me. All through text and emails. She was super helpful and got me the deal that I wanted. So, after work last night, I went to the dealership and met Ben Madsen who had been filled in with all my details by Venus. We checked out the car, went to Shaun the Finance Manager. Everything was just as promised. No tricks. No surprises. I signed the papers and was driving home within an hour of arriving. Best experience! Thank you to David Brown, Venus, Ben Madsen and Shaun for making my life easier! More

When I went in to the dealership I was not set on actually tradi I traded in to a new 2018 Golf yesterday and had a great experience with Ben Madsen. When I went in to the dealership I was not set on actually trading in my car but I found Ben to be immeadiatly likable and relatable. When discussing everything with Ben it feels like you just talking with a normal dude, not a salesman. The deal went well and I got what I set out to get for my trade in and what I deemed an acceptable deal on the price of the new car. Also a plus was that Joel in finance was easy to talk to also and wasn't pushy either. Overall it was a smooth transaction at Carolina Volkswagen and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to a friend. More
